We were lucky with the weather, but this was a lovely walk. The coastline is breathtakingly beautiful, and the beaches stunning. We took a 15 minute coach ride to the start of the walk, and then covered 2km of easy walking, stopping periodically for updates from our guides (one leading an English speaking group and the other a German one).

We decided to book a coastal walk with Stella Polaris as we wanted to learn more about the area. We had an amazing time. Just 2.4 miles walk, where we learned about the creation of Norway, the Vikings and we walked past a Viking burial ground. David, our guide was a first class professional, very knowledgeable and considerate. Crampons were issued to each guest and the guide was accessible to answer questions throughout. It was amazing to see White Tailed Eagle too. I can't recommend this company any higher. It was a highlight of our Norway visit

Beautiful walk along the Norwegian coastline. Pretty easy walk, not really far or intensive. We were provided with spikes because of the slippery ice and headlamps. Everything was really professional organised and our guides were super friendly and nice and gave us a lot of information about the area.

We did the Coastal walk in the winter when in Bodo with the Hurtigruten. Even though it was raining and there was some wind, the views were great. Ice spikes for under your shoes are provided and were necessary. Was good to spend some hours in nature.

We stopped in Bodo for a few hours on a Hurtigruten cruise and felt brave decided to do the Winter Coastal Walk. The tour was well organized. The bus was warm(!) and clean. Our driver was excellent. Despite the cold and some wind, the 2 hours seemed to speed by with beautiful seascapes. The walk was relatively easy, especially because we were provided with very good ice spikes to put onto our shoes. The guides were friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the area and gave us some interesting insight into the Vikings. A cup of warm homemade herbal tea overlooking Landegode island finished off a thoroughly enjoyable excursion.
