Itinerary
In Ramfjord, only a 25-minute drive from Tromsø, we welcome you to our Arctic Floating Camp. Here we will let you immerse yourself in the Arctic Ocean, whilst enjoying the warm embrace of our top-of-the-line immersion rescue suits, which will keep you warm as you float into a near-weightless state.
If you haven't tried this before it's certainly something you don't want to miss out on. Among a lot of great things to do in Tromsø, this is definitely one of those you'll remember for a lifetime.
Joining our evening tours will give you the opportunity of cathing the Northern Lights while floating. If floating wasn't magical enough on its own, Mrs Aurora Borealis will improve to a point where there is no comparison.

Traveler pickup is offered
5-10 minutes prior departure we will be ready to pick you up in the city center. For Tromsø Lodge & Camping departures we will be ready to pick you up around 5 minutes after the start scheduled for your tour.

Another unforgettable experience! I was looking for do something special in Arctic Circle. Until I found this activity. Never think will flowing and earring Arctic Iceberg in Arctic Ocean. The guide is very helpful knowledge and teach how to chasing Northern Lights. No regret to join in tour.

This was a once in a lifetime experience! The short 20 minute drive from tromso was beautiful. The suits kept you pretty warm and the views while floating were unbelievable and majestic. So peaceful. Afterward we had hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls off the fire. It was extremely cold so I sat inside the cabin but there was a nice fire and seats around Ingvar was amazing. He even stayed outside to watch for the northern lights and came in to tell us they were out! Definitely recommend.

This was such an amazing adventure and experience! Our guides were safe, friendly, fun and so accommodating. The artic survival suit keeps you warm and comfortable while floating, which feels so unique and weightless. We were lucky enough to see some auroras while floating. Some of our group was also able to ice fish.
We were treated to delicious cinnamon rolls made over the fire and coffee and tea to finish off our wonderful evening.
I highly recommend this adventure for anyone visiting Tromsø and hope to visit and do it again!

Amazing experience like nothing else. So relaxing floating in the water. Our whole family enjoyed the experience including the hot cinnamon acrolls cooked on the fire after our float.

This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. It was a perfect mix of being exciting, fun, and once you start floating it is very relaxing. It’s a once in a lifetime experience to be floating under the stars and northern lights with the ice all around you. If you’re worried about it being scary or cold- it isn’t. You are aware that the water around you is cold, but it’s not uncomfortable at all. The warm cinnamon buns by the fire afterwards were a perfect end to the night. I highly recommend this very unique experience.

Is an AMAZING experience! One of a kind, definitely something we all need to try, lay down in the cold water but with all the protection and equipment to keep you safe, wow! I went with my boyfriend for my bday, that was a surprise and definitely I will remember this forever!

This experience was magic! It’s like nothing I have tried before. It’s hard to explain how good you feel when you are floating into the freezing water but in the warm suit and surrounded by piece of ice all around you. It’s like meditation! For one hour we stayed into the cold water, laying on our back and staring at the stars, listening to the silence of the Arctic and the sound of the ice. Magic!

Wir haben über Vervetadventures vom Icefloating erfahren und hatten das Glück, zu viert unterwegs zu sein. Da wir einen Geburtstag feierten, hatte der Veranstalter sogar einen Kuchen besorgt - sehr aufmerksam! Das Floating war großartig, man fühlt sich schwerelos und treibt im eiskalten Wasser. Von der Kälte merkt man nicht viel. Wir hatten perfekte Bedingungen und konnten sogar Nordlichter sehen - ein unfassbares Erlebnis! Danach gab es heiße Schokolade, Kekse und natürlich den leckeren Kuchen. Ein perfekter Abend!

Expérience sensorielle exceptionnelle. À faire absolument.
Nous avons été incroyablement bien reçus et rassurés.
Se plonger à 20h dans les eaux arctiques depuis la banquise n'est pas quelque chose que nous faisons tous les jours, mais l'encadrement est véritablement au top.
Tout était parfait, merci à Ingvar et Tor pour ce moment inoubliable.
