The rugged terrain of Aruba's interior and spectacular views of the coastline await you on this majestic 2.5 hour horseback ride. Your tour takes you on a relaxing ride on Nacho Trail through Aruba’s National Park Arikok to The Famous Natural Pool. This tranquil trail lets you appreciate the unspoiled nature that surrounds you. Enjoy the desert scenery dominated by bushes, cacti and colorful rock formations, and keep and eye out for wild goats along the way. The Natural Pool, is a stunning formation of volcanic rocks that resemble a miniature mountain range. The sheltered waters offer a great place to relax or go for a swim for approximately 25 minutes before you return to your noble steed and begin the ride back to Rancho Loco.

Transportation is provided from/to the major hotel areas in Palm Beach and Eagle Beach. If your hotel is not listed, send a message to let us know where you are staying. We do not provide transportation to/from private residences, Saveneta or San Nicholas areas.

We had such a great time horseback riding with this company (family run ranch). The horses were very well trained so it was more than ok that we didn't have any horseback riding experience. The guides took the time to pair individuals with the right horses for a more enjoyable experience. The guides were humorous and very hospitable. Loved all of it. The natural pool was such an amazing pit stop. I was happy to have brought my water shoes because the rocks do get a little slippery.

This is a wonderful tour to take through the deserts of Aruba. The guides are hands on, super knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. I was a beginner and learned so much about horses and riding and Aruba. Give this one a try! Be sure to wear long sleeves and bring a lot of water as well as water shoes , suit and towel if you want to go swimming!

What an excellent experience! Prior to this, the closest thing to a horse I’ve experienced was the basketball game! The instructions were excellent. The staff did a wonderful job of assessing guests and pairing them with an appropriate horse. Once we headed out, horses followed the guide perfectly. There were three, all of whom were engaged in monitoring the guests and horses. The ride was incredible. Once we reached the top of the mountain, you could see both coasts of Aruba. The natural pool was uniquely beautiful, and the ride back to the top and to the stables was equally as fun as the journey up.
I was paired with Phoenix. An unbelievably sweet, compliant and engaging horse. If you are so lucky to get paired with him, tell him hello and thanks for me!

Such a great tour! It was my mom’s first time on a horse and it’s been a while for myself… the guides (Patrick, Luis and Marilyn) made you feel safe and confident. It was an amazing tour start to finish through the different landscapes. The natural pool was very refreshing and recommend bringing water shoes if you have them as the rock can be slippery.
Book the tour! You won’t regret it!

This is an absolute must-do when visiting Aruba. The people are so nice and they really care about the horses. It was a surreal experience riding through the national park - so beautiful and serene. People on our group had different levels of experiences (including a person who was never on a horse before and a person who rides daily) and everyone felt completely safe and had a fantastic time. The Natural Pool was such a unique and cool experience too - just be careful going in and out.
Definitely a highlight of our trip and I'll be back whenever I visit Aruba again! Thank you to Rancho Loco for such an amazing experience!

The best part of a visit to Aruba is the people and the ride with Rancho Loco is no exception. We had three great guides who led the ride, Andres, Luis, & Merle. All three cared tremendously for the horses and their customers wanting to ensure that everyone had a great time and we're paired with the best horse. The ride was quite enjoyable as we wound our way through Arikok national park to the ocean. The swim in the natural pool was invigorating and then we headed on our way back. On the way back we moved a bit more quickly cantering the horses from time to time which was quite fun. Whether you've riden horses before or this is your first time you will have loads of fun. It is clear that the owner cares deeply for the horses, they were well cared for and the facilities were clean. She recognizes her obligation to the animals, retiring them when they can no longer manage daily rides and caring for them on the ranch ensuring that they are well cared for for the rest of their lives. A great experience overall.

The horse ride was awesome. Great tour guides and wonderful views to see. The staff was excellent. They were super helpful and caring. The pool was clean and refreshing. The experience was worth it. Definitely would do again!
