Itinerary
After pickup from your Aruba hotel you will be transported to the ranch where you will meet your guide and your horse for the tour. After an overview and a safety briefing it will be time to ride. There are three available departure times to choose from for this 1-hour tour, including 7a.m., 10 a.m., and 2:30 p.m.
From the ranch, your guide takes you on horseback through the 'Cunucu' or Aruban countryside which means you will not have to cross streets or ride among traffic.Travel through the countryside until you get to the hidden lagoon (drinking hole for the animals) where donkeys, iguanas, and parakeets call home (seeing the animals not guaranteed). Take pictures and enjoy the stunning views. Perfect for families with small children,beginner riders. Or just a short ride. Small groups only.
Your tour ends with a hotel drop-off one hour after your tour begins.

Please look for reconfirmation email from us with the exact time to wait outside the lobby for your specific hotel. Cruise ship guests, wait outside the Food Shop next to the Ice Machine at the Citgo Gas Station. That is left when you pass through the security gate of the cruise terminal.

Pick up time is between 45 minutes and 20 minutes prior to tour departure time. Please call or e-mail to confirm your pick up time and location
The driver will leave after 5 minutes after pick up time at you pick up location. please be on time. we can only reschedule you at extra cost if there is availability
Please call to confirm your pickup time or arrival time if you have your own transportation. This can vary by season
Refunds will not be issued if tour / activity is missed due to late arrival at the ranch or pick up location or NO-SHOW
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers
Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 4 hours of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability

We were picked up on time at our hotel. Our driver was friendly and courteous. Our guide was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our horses, Victoria and Jenifer were well trained and provided an excellent ride.

There were ZERO memorable moments. The driver didn’t call to say he was outside. He sent an email. Who looks at email when getting ready for horse back riding. I was refuse a refund then I requested to go the next morning and wax also not allowed. Everyone will hear about this HORRIFIC, NON friendly customer service from Viator. So so so frigin disappointed with this!!! The driver pulled off 1 minute before we got to lobby. The customers. Service representatives at hotel tried to call him/her but that person refused to answer the phone. A living jerk! I wil NEVER booked anything thru Viator again nor will my 16 other folks that want to come here!!!!!

I loved traveling through the (Canucu) country side of beautiful cacti and stopping bat Ocean for great pictures! Nelson was a great guide always watching about our safety. Felt very special since just me and my family on the tour. Someone mentioned Barbaro as being a bad horse, but that was not so . All the horses were gentle , and very well behaved and cooperative. Great job Rancho Notorious! And they pick you up, and return us to our hotel ! Saw a different house tour ,and those horses seemed non-cooperative. Make the safe and sure bet with Rancho Notorious!

We enjoyed this tour in early May and as hot as the day was, we loved every minute of it. I've never taken a horseback riding tour through the desert to a lagoon. Highly recommend this tour to everyone! "Trot" - Don't walk - to book these guys.

We had an amazing ride down to the hidden Lagoon. Beautiful landscaping and amazing views of the ocean, rock formations, cactuses and land. I highly recommend wearing leggings or comfortable longer pants and not shorts. It is a very hot ride so be sure to where sunscreen and light colored tops or tank tops with a hat!
Our tour guide was great and the pick up service from the port to the ranch was awesome as well.
Be sure to ask about how your horse rides. My husband rode John and he likes to walk slow and enjoy the scenery (I wish I had this horse) My horse, Bonnie, is scared of one of the bigger rocks(March 2024, she is still getting used to it) and I had to literally put my leg up by her head to keep her from bashing my leg on the rock (THE GUIDE DID TELL ME THIS AHEAD OF TIME, I WAS OKAY WITH IT) I have only rode horses a handful of times in my life. It was an easy ride. But... what I didn't know was that she liked to trot aka dance a little while walking. Made for a hilarious ride and we had an amazing time.

Max was a great tour guide and was very informative about the island! We had the best time walking through the deserts of Aruba and saw some amazing views! Highly recommend to beginner and advanced riders!
