Itinerary
In our "Make Your Own Souvenir Workshop", you will study images from the emblematic moments of ancient Greek art (prehistoric sculptures, Cycladic figurines, ceramics and pottery from the geometric and classical era). These images will inspire you to make your own unique souvenir inspired by the Greek culture. Once you decide the type of artwork that you will make, you will be provided with various tools as well as basic clay sculpture techniques and tips by a professional instructor that will help you give the perfect form to your object. At the end of this workshop you will have created your own masterpiece that you can take with you once it's dry and baked.
The participants do not have to be experienced in pottery as the workshop is suitable for beginners. Please note that there is an additional fee if you choose to have your souvenir shipped in your home country.

I took part in the Truevoyagers Pottery workshop in Athens October 2023, and I truly had a wonderful time. My instructor was excellent--she was a lot of fun to talk with, and really taught me a lot. I was a complete beginner, and in the end, I had created a wobbly :) plate, a not-at-all-wobbly bowl, and a couple of little figures.
This one is great, definitely worth my time and money. I'll be back!

Very fun we got to just to mild clay and make bowls and cups ourselves (there isn’t a whole lot of directions in the class) but we enjoyed just winging it and having fun with it!

We had a fantastic experience in this pottery class! We were lucky enough that it was only the two of us for the entire class which meant we got one on one attention in creating our items. The teacher was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend!

This was my 11-year old's favorite activity during our trip to Greece. Our hosts were very friendly, walking us through the steps to create our pottery pieces. We are very excited to have these personal momentos from our holiday to enjoy for many years.
The studio was not difficult to find - between two metro stops and then about a 10 minute walk from the metro station. Great communication with the workshop operators and would definitely recommend!

The ceramic artist was great! She gave us a piece of clay to work with and showed us the basics of what to do with it. After that she kind of just let us go and let us make whatever it was we wanted to make. I didn’t realize I chose a complicated piece but she helped me bring it to life.

I was bought this pottery experience for my 30th birthday. It was such a wonderful afternoon and exceeded my - already very excited - expectations! Antigone was my teacher and was so lovely, patient and kind. She very calmly and clearly explained each process and let me finish in my own time. I never once felt rushed and I loved spending the time evening out the lumps and bumps created by my clumsy hands. The music playing was great, very atmospheric and lent heavily on old classics in rock, blues and folk.
I can't wait to pick up my "organic" creations. If you're at all interested in pottery, I can't recommend learning from these absolute masters. Definitely ask to see some of their work, they're truly incredible artists.

We REALLY enjoyed our pottery class!!
I was surprised and thrilled that it was just my friend and I - what a unique and personal experience 🤩
Our tutor was lovely, relaxed and knowledgeable. She was also encouraging and praising of what we produced.
Her pottery studio is also lovely and it was nice to see what other people had produced and use the moulds avaliable to help create our own pieces.
We were also allowed to choose our glazing colours so are very excited to see them!
A great time had by all and I highly recommend.

I loved the pottery making and so did my 3 children who were surprisingly focused throughout. Great fun and relaxing. Brilliant to do something different and have a memento of the holiday to take home. Thoughougly recommend this work shop. Thanks so much
