Start your experience with an early morning pickup by 4x4 vehicle from your Marrakech hotel and travel to the launch spot for your sunrise hot air balloon ride. Enjoy refreshments including pastries, coffee and tea as you watch your expert crew inflate the hot air balloon.
Then, step into the basket and take to the skies! Each basket holds a maximum of 16 people and there’s plenty of room for you to sightsee comfortably as you soar up and away. Soak up the serene desert landscape as your pilot takes you over the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains on a 40-50 minute flight (depending on wind and weather conditions).
After touching down at the base camp, head inside a tent with a view of the mountains to enjoy a freshly prepared Berber breakfast, including pancakes, corn bread, fruit, olives and mint tea. Follow your breakfast with a guided camel ride through the Palmeraie desert village surrounding the camp.
Before leaving, you’ll be presented with a flight certificate to commemorate your Marrakech hot air balloon experience. Then, travel by 4x4 vehicle back to your hotel in the late morning, allowing you to enjoy the rest of the day in Marrakech.

What an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish this was incredible. Such friendly and attentive people could not do anymore to make the experience one to remember. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone visiting Marrakech. Very well organised, delicious breakfast and the hot air balloon at sunrise was fantastic. Thank you for an incredible experience!

One of the best experiences I've done. It was an early start, but who wouldn't get up for a sunrise over the atlas mountains?
Pickup was seamless, the ballooning was professionally done and as mentioned before the views utterly to die for.
Great platter for the breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the camel ride too.
A must if you are in Marrakech.

What a serene experience! You start your day early (5am pickup) with a drive out of Marrakech to the balloon launch area, where hot tea, coffee and a light snack are waiting. Stand by the fire while watching your balloon inflate. Then ride into the sky with many other balloons to watch the sunrise over the Atlas Mountains. Once finished, head back to camp and enjoy a Berber breakfast with delicious tea. The staff did an impeccable job getting the balloons set up and packing them up when we were done. Our pilot was so kind and friendly, and the experience up in the balloon was amazing! Could not have had a better day for a ride, and an amazing top off to our trip!

The hot air balloon ride was an amazing experience. Lots of people crammed into a basket so moving for a photo was almost impossible. However, the views, sunrise and pilot really amazing experience.
The day was run very efficiently. Breakfast could do with a bit more inspiration as it was a very bread heavy meal.
The camel ride was quick but the team very friendly.

Amazing experience !
Hamid was wonderful in his communication and on prompt pick up and guiding us to all the events that were part of the tour. The Balloon ride was incredible and so peaceful up top, it felt like you were over the clouds. Thank you to all the staff and experience and the yummy breakfast and fun camel ride my 3 year old loved!

Everything was perfect, from being collected, to the balloon flight which was magical at dawn, the landing was impressive too, to traditional Berber breakfast and finished off with a short camel ride. Viator are well organised, i use them now where ever I go.

Pick up was in the medina near our hotel at 5:30 in April 24.
A lovely ‘pit-stop’ pastry and orange juice or coffee before heading to the ballon take-off site.
Pilot professional and lovely, perfect landing and back for the authentic breakfast then 20min drive to the camel ride.
All good and so glad we did it - highly recommended:)

Guide/driver was so friendly even considering I was late, our female hot air balloon pilot had music playing the whole time was a lovely experience for a solo traveller definitely recommend

It is the year of my 70th birthday and we my family wanted to treat me to something a bit special. Wow!!! The watch the sun rise over the Atlas Mt's with around 30 other balloons in the area was spectacular. We were fortunate to have a clear sky with light winds so had the perfect experience. Thank you to Mattieu our pilot.
