Fantastic day exploring the Mekong region with our wonderful tour guide Tri. Only saw one other tour group (4 people) arriving as we left one stop. Great way to explore without being surrounded by so many tourists.

This was a fun tour of the Ben Tre area along the Mekong river. We got to see how coconut and other candies were made. The ride on the river and bicycle rides in countryside were alot of fun. Our guide Mr. Sapa was entertaining and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

We did this tour with Jenny. She was by far the best tour guide we had in our 2 week stay in Vietnam and our children feel the same way! She was funny and really taught us things about Vietnam’s culture. We really got a sense of the culture with Jenny. She was very flexible with us and really knew how to keep our children focus and interested! I would definitely recommend this tour but if i could repeat my 2 week trip, i would do everything with Jenny!!

All activities were lovely, well planned and interesting, including the boat ride, bicycle ride, local bricks factory, coconut candy, mat weavers, homemade farmers lunch and more.
Tom was an amazing guide, very informative, kind and funny, we felt lucky to have him as a guide. We learned a lot during our tour, thank you Tom!
Highly recommend tour, less touristy indeed.

First of all, I just want to mention how great people from Joy Journeys are - they assisted me with booking and were very nice. Catherine is an absolute star (5 star for her!!!)
Secondly, the tour was really good, however I must say I understand what people mean by saying „it feels like a sales tour”. Firstly, well it doesn’t because no one actually tries (or forces) to sell you anything, but it is kind of walking from „station to a station” where they indeed explain process of producing certain products, which is nice because thats what people in the villages do, but it does feel like walking from a station to a station and you can see its set up not daily thing, which does feel turisty.
Best part of the trip was biking around the village, this is when you feel „local” vibes.
And then the boat through Mekong, short but sweet and definitely enough, too bad it was towards the end.
So in general: the tour gives great opportunity to try local product (coffee chocolate is very delicious), see a bit life there but not in a very very authentic way.
Also, brick factory is something I didn’t enjoy. But that can be also personal but would be nicer to use the time for something else :)

We had a nice day in the Mekong Delta. Our guide Safa was very entertaining and explained a lot about the delta and Vietnam. One has to say the getting there and back takes quite long and bigger people might find not so much leg-space in the car. I ENJOYED a lot the boat rides on the Mekong. The visit to coconut country was a great experience
