Itinerary

At sunset we will take up to 10 travelers to a hidden gem in San Antonio, the Yanaguna Garden. Travelers will be treated to two bean and cheese tacos (a local favorite) from one of our favorite taquerias in town as well as a bottled water. Using traditional instruments our duo or trio will perform traditional Tex-Mex music from San Antonio as well as talk about the history of Tex-Mex music and the individual songs we will be performing. Travelers will also be able to indulge in beer or boxed wine for a donation.

Travelers will have the option of choosing our basic duo which includes traditional button accordion and bajosexto or the trio with an added tololoche (upright bass). For a full musical experience we recommend the trio. Because we strive to give an authentic as possible experience, our performance will be mostly acoustic.

Because we are all full time musicians our availability with will vary. Please message us to coordinate a good time for your group.

Below 3 years of age are free however they will not receive tacos.

This is a gem of an experience!!! The park was a great place. Plenty of things to do (chess, playground, swings etc) that you and friends can enjoy together. The instructors were charming and very informative. As someone who grew up in San Antonio even as I was impressed with the knowledge that I had never heard about. The songs were great, tacos were delish and the beers were the cherry on top. Great for tourists and locals alike

Los Callejeros delivered a captivating performance that highlighted the best of traditional conjunto music. With the rich harmonies of the bajosexto and the enchanting melodies of the accordion, they transported us to a world of vibrant rhythms and soulful melodies. Their passion and skill were evident in every note they played, creating an irresistible energy that swept through the crowd. The hosts of the event were not only pleasant but also knowledgeable about San Antonio. Between sets, they shared interesting tidbits about the city's culture and history, adding an educational element to the evening. Their warm and engaging presence further enriched the overall experience.

The serenade was a perfect touch to a night out. The hosts were accommodating and provided lots of knowledge of the city and culture. The songs played were traditional to the area. The tacos and complimentary water were refreshing. Over all the experience was one that we would do again.

Arrived with my friends. Had a great time. Not too long and not too short of length but just right. It was overall a relaxing experience. It felt like our own private party. Tacos were delicious. Enjoyed the story telling. Beer was a bonus. The park was like an hidden gem in downtown. After the experience we walked around downtown to the Riverwalk so it was a great way to kick off the night.
