This is the Entrance of the Manama Market, it is a historical attraction itself as Travelers hundreds of years ago who came by sea, entered through it.

Stop At: Littleindia, Awal Cinema, Zubara Ave, Manama, Bahrain
This area was done in appreciation of the Indians who live in the area, with colorful wall paintings and many Indian Food shops, you will take a quick journey to India.

The tour was fantastic - we were recent arrivals to Bahrain, and this was a great way to gain a better understanding of this great country through our favorite topics: food and history! The tour guide (Maram) was a fantastic cultural ambassador and the food was possibly even better.

Loved an insight into Bahraini food & walking around the souk. Had I not done this tour I would not have known about or tasted any of the local delicacies. The guide, Maram was the best. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It felt like spending a morning with a local friend. Highly recommend!

During a weekend break in Bahrain, booked the PinkAlien food tour. In his signature pink shoes we met Yusef. Energetic, passionate and with enthusiasm Yusef lead through the evening streets and alleys of the Souk in Manama. Every few minutes we stopped at a different location, a quick history of the establishment was followed by tasty foods and beverages representing Culinary Bahrain. The evening flew by partially due to many diverse conversations had over the numerous dishes. I thoroughly recommend this foodie experience in Bahrain.

We joined Yusuf for a food tour during our visit for the Bahrain F1 and had such a wonderful time. We stopped at so many places, tried delicious food, learnt so much about Bahrain. It was the best tour we did while in this lovely little country and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting. We went back to the Souk the following day and revisited one of the restaurants much to the delight of the owner who remembered us. We loved the touch of the Bahrain guide and all the photos at the end. Thank you Yusuf! Joanna and Spencer

My wife and I had a fantastic few hours with Yusef tasting some fantastic food whilst learning a little about the history of Bahrain.
I thought the tour was really well paced and I loved the way you were given a bite sized (sorry for the pun) review of how Bahrain has developed over time with each tasting. These built up a detailed knowledge over the course of the evening without it ever feeling like the information was taking priority over the food.
We found Yusef to be engaging and good fun. There was only the two of us on the tour but it all felt very easy-going and comfortable.
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who has got a few days in Manama.

This good tour experience was incredible. From the moment I met Yousf he made me feel very welcome.
The tour is very well organised. You get to learn about the history, the culture and of course the FOOD. We got to try so many incredible foods, one tastier than the other.
The trip was a perfect length of time as each stop had its only unique charm.
Yousf was so incredibly informative and I’m so thankful he showed me around his homeland. I would recommend this tour to anyone. What better way to see a place, than to ‘ do what the locals do’. Yousf provided that service!
