Meet our team there, jump in our ballooning van and let's go for the balloon adventure ! Also, if come at night, get into the Hard Rock Café and have nice ambiance, good music and international food.
Stop At: Restaurant Zèfir, Carrer 11 de Setembre, 08500 Vic, Barcelona, Spain
Before heading to the balloon launch site, make a stop in this tipical Catalan Cafeteria for you to have a quick coffee, drink a fresh orange juice and get a quick snack. This place is the meeting point with the ballooning team and also be your last chance to go to toilet...

You will be driven outside Barcelona and reach the meeting point in the flying area, next to Vic city. Take off place is very close from the city, and be prepared to contemplate, from the air, the old town of Vic city with its medieval streets and tipical Catalan Masia. You will also fly over Catalonia countryside, get fantastic views of the Pyrenees, Montserrat, the Mediterranean, the massifs of Montseny and, depending on visibility, even Barcelona itself

From the hot air balloon you will discover the beauty of the Montseny Natural Park with its big mountain culminating at 1700 meters, at just 40 km away from Barcelona. During the winter time, you will see snow on it !

Traveler pickup is offered
If you book the balloon flight experience with the pick-up service from Barcelona, the participants must meet our team in front of the Hard Rock Café Barcelona (located Plaça de Catalunya, 21, 08002 Barcelona, Spain) and they will be transfered to the flying area in our vehicules. Exact pick up time varies according to season and will be reconfirmed by local operator (only one possible time between 6:00, 6:30, 7:00). Returns to original departure point.
If you book the balloon flight without the pick-up service, the participants will have to show-up directly in the flying area (at the Cafetería Restaurant Zèfir located in Vic city) located 45 minutes North of Barcelona. Exact meeting time will be reconfirmed by the local operator (only one possible time between 7:00, 7:30, 8:00).

Everything was wonderful and the people were very professional as well as friendly. They made me feel safe and enjoy the experience. At one point I felt lightheaded and they were very concerned and took good care of me, provided water, and took care of every need.

We absolutely LOVED the experience. This was our last day and we ended on a high note. The views were incredible from the snow capped Pyrenees Mountains to the local town Vic. A very smooth flight! The crew was FANTASTIC! A must do while in Barcelona.

This was my first time hot air ballooning and it was a really beautiful and scenic ride. It was incredible to see the balloon being unpacked and blown up! It was so peaceful being in the sky and the ride was not as scary as I had imagined. I will treasure my flight certificate and I highly recommend this excursion.
Only 2 criticisms: Although the detailed description said brunch and champagne, we only had crackers and champagne. Also, we had to help pack up the balloon after our flight. While I didn’t mind, passengers could get hurt because of the heavy weight of the balloon. May not be a good idea to ask passengers to lift anything. Other than that, excellent excursion that I would do again!!!

Excellent experience with very smooth ride and landing. The tour operator sent an email confirmation the day prior regarding pick up time. The car ride from Barcelona to Vic was 1 hr with a stop at the local cafe which served delicious pastries. We had about 1 hr inside the ballon. the team was fun and provided lots of information. We were ask help out in the end which made it quite fun also. We got back to Barcelona by noon. It was a wonderful experience.
