Banff Sunset & Stars - 2hr Walking Tour

Ben was a great and accommodating host to us. He shared some of his knowledge of the various constellations in the night sky and even provided us with directions as to when and where to view the Northern Lights. An event we wouldn't have otherwise known about or attended.

A absolutely lovely experience. Ben and Jacob are very knowledgeable, passionate and want you to have the best experience possible. They set a great pace to allow us plenty of relaxed time to take it all in. Be sure to have your own transportation or a pre-arranged (guaranteed) pick up, as shuttle buses don’t run from around 10.30pm. Tour returns 11.30pm. Thanks to Ben and Jacob for going the extra mile. It was great to meet you both. Love what you do!

Guide was entertaining and tried to get us the best views despite the full moon. Will definitely look into other trips through this guide!

The walk was great, our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to try and show us some stars. Pace and difficulty were very easy, a small patch of ice was nothing. The moon was practically full so we didn't see as much but Sirius was putting on a show for us.

Amazing your, views like nothing I’ve seen before and so unique going at night. Some of the nicest pictures I’ve taken of the night sky. Started out a little cloudy but cleared up well. Even if it hadn’t cleared the views were still stunning. Highly recommend for anyone. Tour guide well prepared and knowledgeable. Felt very safe with the headlamp and metal crampons. Half of the hike we didn’t even need the headlamp because of how bright the sky was from the northern lights but you could still see the stars and satélites. Will def do it again next time we are back here.

Thsi is such a unique and memorable tour, the walk was comfortable and the guide was nothing short of amazing. We felt really safe and engaged throughout the walk. The stars took a while to come come out, but they were beautiful

This tour was awesome! The tour guide Jacob was extremely knowledgable, and made clear his emphasis was safety first and foremost. He made a concentrated effort to engage with each member of the tour group and had frequent stops to check in and make sure everyone was comfortable. His enthusiasm and passion for nature and the park was infectious and we walked away feeling like we had a very authentic experience. Not to mention the picturesque views were stunning throughout.

Jacob was an amazing guide. His expertise and stories he shared made the experience very fun and memorable. It was beautiful getting to see the stars in the middle of the clear Canadian night sky. The atmosphere was amazing and Jacob did a great job leading the group and making sure everyone was comfortable and having an enjoyable time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in seeing a different side of Banff and experiencing something very special.

My husband and I absolutely loved this excursion! The stars were incredible! Getting to go out into the Canadian wilderness at nighttime was an incredible and once in a lifetime experience! Do it!!

This was a really great experience. Lovely evening walk out into the woods to see the stars. Very quite and tranquil - would highly recommend!
