Wharfside Watersports Zodiac rental was a great way to spend the day. I have chartered a boat and captain in the past and that might be good for some but I enjoyed being the captain myself. It is for the experienced boater on the open sea, not just lake boating. Either way Wharfside Watersports is an excellent choice for whatever you choose for your boat experience!!!

Had an outstanding experience with Wharfside Watersports on April 24th! The Crew was awesome! They made sure that we were all very safe and comfortable with their Zodiac boats. After renting dinghies for the previous several years, it was great to get out and be a little more adventurous. It was a great experience to be able to circumvent the entire island of STJ for the first time! I highly recommend giving Wharfside Watersports a chance to make your STJ vacation even more memorable!

Great service and owner and staff were great and knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure we understood all the mechanics of the boat and how to get to all the beaches we wanted to visit. We had a great time and when are back in St. John we will definitely rent another boat, best way to see the beaches.

We had a blast on this 200hp zodiac with shade- fit our family of 6 with comfort! We have a boat back home but this was a incredible way to explore the island- beaches- snorkeling- pizza pi- shipwreck- on your own personal tour. We did a half day but could have done full day easily if we even knew how awesome it would be! So much to see and do- what a wonderful experience! Staff was fun- and made sure we were comfortable with the reefs before letting us out. They even gave us some ideas on where to go and how to tie up. MUST DO if you are comfortable boating!!! It’s awesome.

These guys are great both are extremely knowledgeable about the island and where to stop during your boating day. They take the time to show you how to get in and out of any difficult areas. We arrived slightly later than expected and were still greeted with friendly faces. They upgraded us to a larger vehicle without hesitation or cost. We spent the full day on the ocean cruising around the island. One memorable stop was the lime out. At the end of the day they nosed us into the shore where we got out without getting wet. Great people to rent from I would recommend Warfside Watersports to anyone

This was one of the best parts of our trip to St. John. Renting a boat to navigate around the island, stopping at some places that are tough to get to without a boat, made for an enjoyable day. I definitely recommend the full day rental so you can maximize your time on and off the boat. Wharfside Watersports were great to work with and gave us all the instruction we needed to have a safe and fun experience. I highly recommend them.

What a perfect way to explore the many beautiful bays of St. John! Our family enjoyed being on our own time with our own agenda. We found some amazing and less busy snorkeling spots and had our own private transportation to Lime Out! We highly recommend Scotty and the crew at Wharfside Watersports!! This is our second time renting a Zodiac from them, and we will definitely do it again.

I am hesitant to write this review because I feel like they are a hidden gem. We’ve used Scott and his zodiac twice in a year. He is very helpful and patient when explaining how to operate and use the boats. I love that we have the flexibility to travel around St. John and even over to St. Thomas . He also gives great recommendations for some snorkeling spots that we may not have heard of. Overall, they are amazing and I just cannot say enough good things about Wharfside. Just don’t tell your friends because I like it as our little secret. ;)

Staff was amazing! Listened to our ideas and made appropriate recommendations. We circumvented the entire island but would not do that again. Swells were high around south east which made for difficult navigation. Would go around north and west side if we did it again. Did go over to Christmas Cove for Pizza Pi. The Zodiac was powerful and appropriately sized to get anywhere. Beautiful experience over all!
