Adventure for everyone! Basic canyoning Cetina River is the combination of walking, hiking, sliding down the rapids, swimming in crystal clear natural water pools, walking through the tunnels and swimming under the highest waterfall on river Cetina. Also includes some cliff jumps (they are optional). The guide provides you with wetsuits, life vests and helmets, and you are ready to set off in the adventure of your life! All you need for this trip is a swimsuit, some kind of sports shoes, adventure spirit and you are ready for the expedition!
Duration of the tour is 3.5-4h, with transfers from Split total 6h.

The view was amazing, the adventure was fun and the guides were helpful and awesome. We had a fantastic day! The hole trip was excellent and doable for families from the age of 8 and older.

The cetina river looks amazing and so are the views, the way down vas extremely fun when you're with friends, the guide felt like one more friend on the trip.

We did canyoning, rafting, DWS and kayaking with Iris Adventures and it was the best summer vacation we've had - the instructors were professional and with a good sense of humour, we would definitely go back again if we ever travel to Croatia.

We are from Australia and I highly recommend!!!!!!! My dad is 51 and I am 23 and this day out requires a little bit of fitness but truely a lot of fun.

The trail we did was amazing. Many beautiful vantage points are found along the trail. Due to the difficulty of it, we didn’t take our own device for photos but the organization provided them for us without additional cost.
Nonetheless, as canyoning can be dangerous, we would have liked more guidance during the trail. The communication was very limited. This did not per se lead to any dangerous situations, but it could have.
For the future traveller: don’t mistake basic canyoning for being entry-level canyoning. Basic means that you don’t have the rappelling as part of the package. We climbed steep rocks using only a rope, went down very narrow paths next to steep drops with limited protection outside the gear you were wearing. There’s no harness when walking/climbing/ descending next to these drops. As you go into the water as well, these rocks could get slippery if there are multiple people in front. Also good to keep in mind that all this action happens outside of the water while wearing your wetsuit and gear which can become heavy. The trail is only 2,5 km but it took us roughly 4h. We strongly advise to eat and drink enough before you go as there is no option to do this until the activity is done. This is not to discourage, if you have an above average physical condition and good balance, this is an unforgettable experience in a beautiful environment, it is merely to manage expectations.
