SAILBOAT ON A QUIET MEKONG RIVER

We did two tours in Ben Tre, and Mekong zig zag was by far the best! We saw so much of the local life in Ben Tre, zooming around on motorcycles. It was hot, but the motorcycles made touring around much more comfortable. Our guide A was fabulous and navigated the tiny roads effortlessly.
Lunch was at the Ba Damh Homestay, and it was fabulous. ( We booked to also stay overnight at the homestay and it is such a beautiful place ).
Our previous tour had a hand rowed Sampian, and I thought the Mekong zigzag sailboat would be just ‘ok’. Honestly it was a spectacular experience—the river they took us on was beyond stunning. The sailboat was so comfy with the bean bag chairs. This tour was 10/10 for us. Thank you An!

Amazing trip. Perfectly organized. The drive through the villages, seeing local life was accompanied by a lovely guide answering all questions and enriching the experience. Lunch and coconut candies were so tasty 😋 will come back for more.
The best part was our guide An, she is super friendly and would take amazing care of us, replying to all questions. She also takes nice photos!!!

I recommend the tour 100%!!! I don't think you'll find anything comparable in Ben Tre and the Mekong Delta. The day was beautiful and packed with unique experiences. You ride a scooter through the beautiful landscape (real fun), learn about the life of the locals and in the region, and take a wonderful boat tour over the canals. At the end of the day we went to the market in Ben Tre and tried some street food. It was a really lovely and fun day with Zen and An. Thanks a lot!

Excellent tour very knowledgeable staff with a good command of the English language. Enjoyed all the stops. The lunch and boat tour were great. Well worth the money.

Amazing full day, everything was taken care of from coffees, to helping with taxis to dropping off at our home stay.
Village tour, motorbike rides, a really unique river cruise - we saw no other tourists. And SO much food! All delicious

Full day of fun, bikes, sight seeing, river cruises. Plenty of yummy food and good times. Zen was a fantastic guide and the whole team were so happy and inviting. Perfect day

Communication with Zen very good. We wandered thru the country on the back of bikes. My rider was fabulous. I felt very safe. We saw many interesting things. The pace was relaxing. The lunch at da bang was excellent and the afternoon siesta much needed. We had samples of very delicious coconut candy. The afternoon boat ride was so tranquil. The most tranquil of all our mekong experience. The finale was a drive thru Ben Tre markets and area. Very exciting. I would recommend this tour.

An absolutely fantastic experience! Our tour of the Mekong Delta was authentic and intimate, with just 5 of us in the group. The morning scooter ride was a lot of fun and allowed us to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lush greenery. Meeting locals in the village and experiencing their lifestyle firsthand, along with delicious juices, was unforgettable. The afternoon boat tour on the serene Mekong River was simply magical, away from tourist crowds, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. A sensational day made possible by our passionate guides, Linh and Zen. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure!

Mekong ZigZag was fantastic, an appropriate name as we zig zagged all over Mekong. Si was our guide and shared his extensive knowledge of the area. We were picked up in Ho Chi Minh at 7am travelling a couple of hours by private car to Si's homestay Ba Dahn, where we were welcomed with tea and their homemade coconut candy...yum. The day was packed with activities getting around by motorbike. If you want to avoid the tourist trips this is the best, a real view of the way of life for the people living on the Mekong River. If you have the extra days I would recommend staying at Si's homestay or at Innerzen homestay where we boarded the boat to sail down the Mekong. Great day, great food, great value. Thanks again Si!
