With the capacity to accommodate over 65,000 spectators, the stadium is mostly used for football (soccer) matches, and has previously hosted the final match for Europe's premier club football tournament.
At the stadium you'll explore the executive seats, locker room, press conference room and the official store, where you'll be able to purchase authentic Benfica merchandise. One of the best parts of the tour is that opportunity to walk onto the great lawn, and get a first-hand look of what it's like to play on the field.

The tour was fascinating and the stadium was absolutely beautiful. I went with my 14 year old son who enjoyed every second. We got to see the changing rooms and players shirts, the press conference room and of course the Bald Eagles - these were definitely a highlight of the tour for us - amazing creatures. Amazing tour.

Pleasant enough stadium tour in a rather large group. The stadium is impressive. The guide was a bit matter of fact and spoke quickly in Portuguese and English. We were not allowed to sit on any of the subs bench seats and were only shown the away dressing room. Mandatory green screen photos at the beginning of the tour and moderate hard sell of the pictures at the end. More expensive and a bit less enjoyable than the Sporting tour, in my subjective opinion (I don't support either team).

Good experience, tour guide was informative and had good banter with our large group of guys. Nice stadium however would of been cool to see home dressing room also.

The view was great. The tour led us on to the field via the players tunnel and it was so exciting! The tour was great and we saw player jerseys in the locker room, would recommend

We booked the tour on line. As we were staying in Central Lisbon, we took the blue line metro to the stadium, from there it was a 10 minute walk to the Stadium and gate 17.
There were a lot more people in a group than I was hoping for, maybe 30 to 40. On arrival you have your photos taken for purchasing at the end, if you choose to. The tour was in both English and Portuguese. You got to see the areas you would expect to see and walk pitch side. It was a surprise the see the 3 large Eagles at pitch side.
After the tour you get taken to the store, and from there you make your own way to the museum, (the instructions were not totally clear at this point)
The museum is surprising, it’s much more than football, near the exit is the penalty simulator which was not being used by anyone, so I took a few penalties, which was fun.

Thank god we hadn’t already got on the taxi . Not good ! Refund done quickly though . I wouldn’t book again as unreliable

As per most sports tours this follows the same pattern. Commemorative photo. Lots of interaction and interesting content to read and learn about.
However, the Benfica tour stands out. It was very well guided and rich in its detail about the clubs history. Once you’ve been you understand just how big a club they are and have been.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks reasonably priced.
