We will visit Curchi Monastery complex, that is around 30 km from Old Orhei reservation. Cultural, religious and historical essential background of over two centuries makes Curchi Monastery highly qualified heritage among the most significant monuments of Moldavian religious architecture.

Stop At: Old Orhei Archeological Complex, Trebujeni Moldova
Visit the popular Old Orhei with its famous Cave Monastery, Butuceni Ethnographic Museum from beginning of XX century, ruins of Tartars city Shehr al-Djedid (14th - 16th centuries). It is a just an unique natural and historical complex in the open air.

Stop At: Cricova Winery, Strada Petru Ungureanu 1 Strada Chișinăului 124, Cricova 2084 Moldova
Cricova Winery is situated at a depth of 60-80 meters, representing a real underground city. Cricova Winery represents a unique underground kingdom well-known all over the world by its huge labyrinths, and especially by its excellent wines. Here we will have a 2,5 hour tour, that includes excursion in Cricova's wine sections and wine tasting (3 types of wines, Nuts, biscuits, water).

Stop At: Old Orhei, Orhei Moldova
Time for lunch in a local old-fashioned restaurant, which serve authentic, ecological Moldavian food. Fabulous traditional food while visiting the Ethnic Village.

Valerii was a fantastic guide, spoke English very well and had a good sense of humour. The monasteries were beautiful and the winery was amazing but Valerii also took us to a couple of interesting places not included on the itinerary which made the trip even better. As well as this, he also gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat during our stay in Chisinau and dropped us off at a fantastic Gagauzian restaurant at the end of the day. Overall, this tour gives you an opportunity to see some of the best attractions Moldova has to offer, all in a single day.

This was a very good tour. Our guide Nicolai was great and a lot of fun. We learned a lot about life in Moldova and the history of the country. The Curchi monastery and the Old Orhei are must see places if you are in Moldova. The tour in the underground cellars of the Cricova winery was fascinating.

A great tour. Really knowledgeable guide Valrij and amazing driver Oleg. The guide change the restaurant on our request and took an extra time to show around. Really recommend a tour. We order a plenty of food and we take food for a dinner.

This is a great tour that provides an extensive/inclusive experience around Chişinău. The guide and driver are very kind. Russian language skills are a big help, however, the guide speaks English. Expect to be gone most of the day for the experience- it is a blast! When it comes to food or finding amenities, they were always patient and took our group to an alternate underground restaurant, which we altogether chose to do. It was amazing. We paid for the lunch, and the restaurant took card. I do, however, recommend bringing some currency along in the event you decide you want to purchase something in one of the monastery shops or from a local along the way. The winery also takes card. Overall, it was a great tour!

Clear communication about pick-up.
Very knowledgeable tourguide (Nikolai) and had very interesting discussions about life in different countries and eras.
Our tour guide accommodated our interests even if slightly off agenda.

An outstanding trip, very interesting and extremely enjoyable! Our guide, Slava, was excellent - very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, he really brought the story to life. As well as the stunning places we visited, a traditional Moldovan lunch in a small village was not like the usual “arranged “ stops often found on trips like this, but a genuinely authentic Moldovan family run restaurant.
The wine tasting was first class too.
Cannot recommend this trip highly enough, and many thanks to Slava for a cracking day!
