I would absolutely recommend this tour. Marty, my tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and the local ecosystem. He was willing to tailor and adjust the experience to his group depending on what people were interested in, their fitness level, and any other needs they had. He was personable and made each person feel welcome and important. The tour itself included a variety of experiences in the park from mountain tops to moss-covered forests. For the amount of time we had, the tour gives guests the best highlights of the park. Also, there were snacks and beverages always available, and the catered lunch was delicious and healthy. There were also plenty of bathroom breaks. If you only have one day to see Olympic National Park, then this is the tour you should take, and you would be lucky to have Marty as your thoughtful guide.

This tour was the perfect ending to our trip to the northwest. Marty was our guide and we were lucky to have him show a few highlights of Olympic National Park. Walking through this beautiful park we saw waterfalls and amazing trees and flora as well as the Crystal Lake. Loved trekking in the snow on Hurricane Ridge!

Excellent organisation. Collected from our hotel on time, great ferry and mini bus journey. Visited the snow covered mountain tops, trailed there and down in the forest. Ample loo stops, pleasant lunch, snacks, drinks and all escorted by a very knowledgeable guide in Karen who was accompanied by her colleague Kenzie- a new starter who was also excellent. There were easier trail options for the less fit, and as long as you have mobility, there is nothing to worry about. The walks were about a mile or two or less if desired. The group all agreed that the full day was memorable and couldn’t have been managed better. Defo worth the trip.

We really enjoyed the snowshoeing up the mountain and seeing the tide pools along the coast which was helped by Evan, who was a great tour guide and was very informative. We learned a quite a lot about the plants and animals as well as how to treat rashes from ivy. Unfortunately the waterfall was closed the day we went (it was a long drive) but we still had a good time.

Had an awesome tour guide, Marty, lead our group. We stopped at hurricane ridge, crescent lake and then did a hike to a waterfall. We got to see snow and forest, it was great. Marty was prepared with hiking poles for the snow, had awesome snacks for us during the day and a great lunch as well. Everything was very well thought out. Highly recommend this tour company and Marty specifically!

The trip was both well planned and well executed - Evan, our guide, was on top of everything, got us to where we needed to be when we needed to be there, and he was skilled enough at his job to make it all look easy. The park was beautiful, large and diverse - I would never have managed to experience as much of it in so meaningful a manner had I attempted to do it on my own. We made it up to the top of Hurricane Ridge, down to Crescent Lake and we fit in some waterfalls as well. Evan was a great guide, and I enjoyed the group in the van as well. Highly recommended.

I went on a tour with nature guide Evan S., and it was amazing. Evergreen Escapes and Evan made everything extremely convenient. You literally don't have to worry about a thing. The trip was more than worth the money. I informed them that we were celebrating my friend's marriage with this trip, and they prepared champagne and cookies for us. If you are hesitating about going on a tour with Evergreen Escapes, just go. Thank you again to our tour guide Evan S. for making the trip so informative and memorable.

A truly amazing day with clear gorgeous views from Hurricane Ridge and on Crescent Lake. Lunch at the lake was much nicer than I expected and was a great boost of energy for the afternoon. And Evan was a spectacular guide, full of energy and enthusiasm for the region. Our group was fun and I enjoyed chatting with new friends on the hikes and in the van.
