The cobblestone streets of Bergen make for a bumpy Segway ride. Also it was very crowded so we had to navigate around a lot of people. Our guide was a very confident rider so he would be very far ahead leaving us to fend for ourselves. Thankfully he was wearing a bright yellow vest so we could see him in the distance. He was very soft spoken and English was difficult for him, so his narration was hard to understand. Bergen however was beautiful. Especially the views of the water from the hills. Worth it even though coming down those hills was scary.

Great way to quickly get around Bergen with a giude. The guide was super and the trip starts with getting to know how to ride a Segway and then off you go on a great round trip in Bergen.

The best way to see a city. Segways eat up distance and slopes. A timid rider was managed with a minimum of interruption to the rest of us.

We went on the Bergen Segway tour, with Tobias. What a great experience! Would highly recommend :). Great views of Bergen and really interesting history along the tour.

The Bergen Segway tour was amazing. Maria was out guide, very helpful, knowledgeable and fun! They were amazingly flexible an d very caring with those in our party who were hesitant to Segway, but later said they loved it. They take their time to make sure you are comfortable before starting out. Highly recommend.

If you've never done a Segway tour and you are in Bergen...give this tour some consideration!
I'd done a Segway tour once before (in the US). My wife had never done one until this tour in Bergen. Both of us jumped on these Segways and were tooling around without issue in about 5 minutes time.
Each of us had a radio transmitter with earpiece as the tour was narrated. We traveled up cobble stone streets, thru some of the most beautiful alleys and over some old pathways throughout the tour. It was an informative and fun way to spend 2 hours.
There were 6 of us in total on this tour. If my memory serves me...4 of us had previous experience on the Segway. 2 were rookies. The 6 of us survived nicely and had a great time.

The Segway part was amazing but our tour guide was older, wasn’t loud enough for us to hear half the time, and stopped in really populated areas (instead of stopping 100 feet farther- still with a good view of what he was pointing out- just with less crowds.)
I also would have enjoyed this more if there were adult only options for the tour. Our tour had two kids (8/10year olds) who found it more fun to cut off the other adults on the tour and race. The guide (nor parents) said anything so that was a little annoying.
Overall, it was a good way to see the city in a short time and riding a Segway for the first time was great. Just request an adult only tour and different guide and it would probably be 5/5 stars!

We were very impressed with the segway tour and our guide Tobias!
Tobias patiently gave us newbys instructions on how to use the segway safely.
We toured throughout much of Bergen learning details about the history, ships and buildings. We zipped up hills and through narrow alleys.
We loved touring on the segway! It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Tobias was our guide. Four of us went through a 20 minute introduction to using the Segway. That is a must since most are newbies. It was a easy and comfortable learning experience. Didn’t realize it was a history lesson about Bergen but it was nice to understand a bit about it. The route was fantastic! Covered many different segments of the town. Would recommend this to others.
