Another fact that it comes with your phone so you can hear the history of Chicago and the fact you could get off and get back and continue the tour

Superb tour, try and get on a tour driven (and excellently narrated) by Candice if you can. The audio tour is fine but she brought the city to life!

Really enjoyed the narration and music. I really enjoyed the architecture and art along the way.
Too bad the busses couldn't run a little closer together.

Taking the bus tour in Chicago was an absolute delight! The location of the first stop was perfectly chosen, making it easy to start the tour. The views of various city sights were truly astonishing, giving me a broad and beautiful perspective of the city. The duration of the tour felt just right—not too long, yet comprehensive enough to enjoy and appreciate what Chicago has to offer. I had a great time, got to know the city quickly, and loved all the different places we were able to see. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quick and thorough introduction to this vibrant city. Thank you!

The bus tour was good.
The Viator experience was terrible. The way to get the QR code is terrible. The voucher should be available on the App and not a back-forth between the app and email which in the end created a never ending loop. Had to call CC to get the QR code.
Over the years Viator’s experience as a customer has reduced.

We bought a two day ticket. On the first day, the tour was ruined by some school kids who got rowdy and louder as the tour went on. I was grateful that I had the next day to go around again to listen to the commentary for bits that I could not hear on the first day.
On the second day, unfortunately the commentary was not linking with the sites. It was very hard to follow, and therefore not very enjoyable or informative. I wish there was another bus tour option in the city that could give a more detailed thorough guide to the wonderfully rich history of Chicago.
I felt that more could have been said about the historic buildings within the downtown area, and a lot more on the history of Chicago. I left the two days feeling like I did not get the experience I wanted.

First, the gentleman at the beginning of the tour who was giving tickets was swearing because the buses were behind schedule because of the traffic caused by Pres. Biden’s visit to the city. Once in the bus, no one, including the driver instructed us about the use of the headphones. They did not make us aware that headphones were needed for the audio of the tour. Most of the riders on the top of the bus Did not have headphones. I went down during the tour to get mine once I was told by another patron how to listen to the tour. Due in part to the visit of the president the tour took almost three hours which put me behind from a scheduled event that I needed to be at. It would have been helpful for the gentleman swearing and bitching to inform the riders that there would be a major delay in the tours scheduled stops. I ended up getting off the bus and walking a great distance to get back to the original origin of the tour. It was horrible and very unexpected as I had a good experience in San Francisco. This time a horrible experience.

We laughed at the incongruity of a "sightseeing" bus with blocked-out windows! That's the only good thing to be said about this experience. We had to sit below stairs because it was raining. We couldn't see out through the windows. The bus driver showed no interest in anything or anyone. He got off the bus at one point without explanation, closing the doors behind him. Another driver came on, again no greeting, no interest. The ear pod commentary is beyond irritating.

We bought the 2 day pass. The 1st day we were very disappointed. We riden the Big Bus in many cities across the US, perhaps some cities are better suited for this style tour. Chicago is a grid with a smallish center loop; the Big Bus tour weaved mostly in and around this loop. We'd hope it would take us into the ethnic areas as it does in NYC, LA or to the historic high spots as it does in San Antonio and St. Augustine. Also, while the new app is helpful letting you know how soon the next Bus is arriving, we spent a considerable amount of time standing on street corners waiting for the next bus. In other cities the routes are better defined; it's easier to walk between stops, do a bit more Sightseeing, while waiting for the next bus. It was also rather annoying to listen to the same narrators in Chicago we heard in NYC a couple months before. Stupid banter in squeaky juvenile voices with inane adolescent jokes. We almost skipped our second day on the Big Bus. Glad we didn't. This time, our driver Anton, let us know as we boarded the bus, not to bother with the headphones, he would be narrating. He was as enthusiastic as he was informative. Anton truly loves and knows Chicago. Anton is the reason we'll take the Big Bus in the next city we explore - hoping for that city's Anton.
