Block printing is a fascinating art form that involves carving designs onto wooden blocks and transferring them onto fabric. In this class, you'll get a basic overview of this technique and learn to create something truly unique and off the beaten track.
During the class, you'll learn how to layer a motive design or an all-over design using water-based pigments. You'll have the opportunity to mix and match colors and incorporate Gad (Ground), Rekh (Outline), Datte (Filler) designs, allowing you to create a one-of-a-kind scarf or sarong that reflects your personal style.
Inspired by the intricate designs and bright colors of Sanganeri Print, you'll select from a range of designs and hues to create your Pico stitch scarf or sarong. With careful guidance and expert instruction, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in just a few hours.
By the end of the class, you'll have a unique piece of wearable art that you can proudly wear or gift to someone special. So come and explore the art of block printing and unleash your creativity!

A fantastic experience with friendly and professional guidance from very experienced block printers. All 4 of us came away with a practice piece and a big scarf which we printed ourselves. Thouroughyl enjoyable morning!

Our family spent a wonderful morning doing a block printing workshop with Mohit and Kunj. Everything was clearly explained, we all chose a different design and there was lots of help and advice to ensure we got the most out of it. We all produced a piece of printed fabric we were proud of! Our children, 9 and 11, very much enjoyed it too. Thank you for a great, fun time :)

The Block Print Workshop at Creatis was beyond our expectations! Mohit introduced us to the concept and set us up with Master Kunj. We had an amazing time learning about the techniques and process of block printing and getting to try our hand at it as well.
We're no pros but Kunj helped us look pretty good and we are ecstatic about the scarves we brought away with us.
As in so many situations like this, the class was incredible but the conversations we had with Mohit and Kunj were also fantastic. It's great to have cool experiences and meeting amazing people make those experiences all the better.

Super fun! Learning how to make block prints was so much better than just seeing the end products in shops. Helps you appreciate the skill of the crafts people. Nice break from traditional sight seeing. Owner and the master print maker were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Really loved this experience, it was the highlight of my trip to Jaipur! The team really takes their time explaining the whole process, and helps you out if you make a mistake.
If you want to see the magic behind this craft, I highly recommend this!

This was such a fun, memorable experience. In a city where there is a lot to see and consume, we were craving something that was creative, something we could use our hands to do. Mohit, the owner of the space, is wonderful. So are the assistants that stayed with us patiently for an hour after everyone left (because we chose really difficult stencils lol)

Had the most amazing experience today at the block printing class! The team was very patient and kind in hosting us. We got to pick our own design and colors. Is much harder than it looks but very neat to understand the craft, definitely do this!
