Blue Mountains Private Tour

An outstanding tour -- not to be missed. As advertised, Paul picked us up at our hotel in Sydney in his clean and comfortable Land Rover, and whisked four of us up to the Blue Mountains for a fantastic day. Happily, weather was cooperating, and we started off with morning tea/coffee quite a ways down an off-road trail. A well-stocked "larder" by his wife/business partner, Jenny, made for a great breakfast amid absolute peace, serenity and drop-dead views. From there, we visited numerous other on and off-road sites, with short trail walks breaking up the riding. If Paul thought an area was too crowded, he took off elsewhere and brought us back later, so we mostly had these stupendous sites to ourselves. Along with the views was his interesting and knowledgeable commentary on what we were seeing -- plant and animal life, etc. A stop in the cute town of Leura and a delicious lunch at the Leura Cafe added to our enjoyment. With a wine and cheese finale around 5, we got back to Sydney 6ish, all agreeing on a marvelous day in an incredibly beautiful area. We can't recommend Paul and Jenny highly enough. This is "the" Blue Mountains tour to book.

What an amazing day. Our van was comfy and water was provided. Greg was a wonderful host for the day. He was entertaining, knowledgeable, calm, safe, and adaptable to individual abilities and needs.

The tour was excellent from start to finish and both Jenny & Paul were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We went to some beautiful places with no one else in sight. If you want to see lots natural beauty with no buses of tourists around this is the tour for you.

Outstanding tour by Paul, couldn’t recommend enough. Great sites, incredible knowledge and engaging. Food was also great (compliments to Paul’s wife), both picnics were awesome. Eating surrounded by kangaroos doesn’t happen often, absolutely loved the day. Thanks again Paul. All the best!

We were planning our first trip to Australia and going through all the options for visiting the Blue Mountains from Sydney. We ended up going on the private tour with Blue Mountain Eco tour and were so glad we did! Paul knows a lot about the area and the plants and wildlife. We had several stops along the way and really enjoyed the snacks that were provided by Jenny. All in all, a seamless experience and a great chance to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Absolutely incredible experience. Paul took us to a great selection of out-of-the crowd locations with amazing views. We started the day with tea overlooking the gorgeous Blue Mountains and ended the day with a campfire surrounded by kangaroos and wallabies. I really cannot express how much our family of four enjoyed this private tour. He even spotted two wombats on the way home (something I really wanted to see but knew was unlikely). Our family will remember this day for the rest of our lives.

Paul was an outstanding guide who has been doing it for 17 years. Completely flexible on what you see based on exactly what you want. We visited some beautiful parts of the Blue Mountains that very few get to see. Beautiful lunch, wine, snacks and cheeses to make sure we were never left thirsty or hungry. Would strongly recommend, have never seen the Blue Mountains as beautiful as this.

My wife and i did the twilight tour with Paul. The tour was absolutely fabulous! I cannot say enough about this excellent tour! Paul and Jenny are amazing people who truly care about ensuring they provide you with the best experience they can. The snacks they provided were exceptional and addressed our allergies beyond expectation. The hiking, the views, the wildlife were all amazing. All I can say is thank you and I am so glad we booked this tour. I just wished I could have a tour as good as this at each of our stops on journey in Australia and New Zealand.

Our family of 5 (kids - 12, 13, 16) took the twilight tour on our Christmas holidays in Sydney. Paul was very personable and full of information. Even though it was a very busy tourist day he managed to keep us away from the crowds of people and showed us spectacular places that we would not have otherwise known about. We were all very comfortable in his Range Rover which fit us all in more than comfortably. It was all topped off with a sunset picnic in a field watching kangaroos and wallabies hopping around.
