Very fun class. Alessia is a great instructor. It was fun cooking the pasta and tiramisu but even more fun eating the dinner with fellow classmates and drinking wine parred by Alessia for each course. The whole process from beginning to end took about 4 hours, no need to eat dinner or anything else for the rest of the day. All food cooked and eaten was typical of the region. Well worth the time and money.

We made Tortelloni pasta with ricotta and parsley, Tagliatelle and Tiramisu for desert . The whole experience was wonderful. Alessia was very welcoming and very well organised. It’s the first time I made pasta and I feel confident that I will be able to make it at home. I went with my daughter and we met two other couples there. This made it interesting and an enjoyable experience. As we don’t eat pork Alessia accommodate us at very short notice for a vegetarian option. The six of us ate what we cooked Alessia provided the appropriate wines. She shared lots of tips and we also learnt about Balsamic vinegar. The original date we picked Alessia could not do but she contacted me as soon as I had made the booking and we rescheduled without any issues. Would highly recommend this cookery class.

While this experience was advertised as a "private event" your group only, there were 2 other groups there, a total of 8 people. It turned out find, they were all nice people, but not what I expected from the description on Viator. Alessia is very fun and she knew her stuff, she was helpful with each person. The learning experience was enjoyable and the dinner was great. You get to be in her home and see how an Italian couple live. The space was a little tight for 8 people, but she made it work. I would recommend this to others, just be aware if you want a "private" experience, this might not be it. You could walk to her home from the train station, it took about 1/2 hour, there were good sidewalks the entire way, we felt safe while walking.

We had such a wonderful time with Alessia! She truly was such a wonderful teacher and made the whole experience so fun! It’s in such a personal setting and she has all the ingredients and explains each step thoroughly. Please make sure to reach out to her regarding the start time and make sure to book her because this was one of our favorite activities! Hope to do it again and bring family!

We were just two so we had Alessia’s full attention, and were able to participate in the preparation of 3 traditional dishes. Hand rolling the pasta dough was quite the experience, and workout! Alessia seemed passionate about sharing her cooking with us, and shared her special tips and tricks to success. Just wish I had had the recipes in front of me to take notes. A cooking class is a definite must when touring Bologna!
