Great way to see the city. Scanning the QR code to see when your next bus is coming works really well and allows you to plan at stops.
Great info on all the sites and attractions in Bonn and Bad Godesburg in multiple languages and headphones supplied.
Really chilled way to explore and learn about the city and the surrounds, and jump off to look around whenever you want.

Fun and easy. We wanted to just get a feel for the city since we had never been to Bonn before. The hop on hop off was perfect for that. We then decided to return to Museum Miele the next day.

This tour covers the major sites in and around Bonn and explains a lot about the history. The tour itself is prerecorded. But, the driver also added a few interesting stories of his own. 😀

My group of four English speakers (Moms with 20-something daughters) joined at 10:30AM, first stop. We had choices for upper-deck seats. Audio was easy to understand in English using headphones, and that hasn’t been my experience on previous hop-on-hop-off buses in other cities. Bus kept to schedule. It didn’t linger at stops, so no wasted time. This was a great way to get a feel for the history, beauty, and diversity of Bonn!

Great experience and a quick way to get to see Bonn. It was at times difficult to identify the landmarks that were being referred to during the commentary.

I love double deck bus and I have always taken it when traveling to new cities.
This trip was stressful, because, first I could not find the departure location. There is no information provided by TripAdvisor or on the reservation. From 10 am on, I asked hotel front desk, another hotel, called TripAdvisor, bus drivers and finally, at 1 pm, I got on the bus.
Second issue for me is that the bus had German voice guide on the loud speaker. I can not hear the English guide the headphones that the bus provided. I had to sit at the front in the first floor to avoid the sound. The experience was not enjoyable.
Bonn is is beautiful. The Rhine River is breathtaking. The double deck bus would be enjoyable only if you understand German.

I really try do these tours when in the city’s to get an overview and see around first. This was the longest tour I’ve done yet but really enjoyed it. Bonn has so much recent history but so much around the edges to see and hear about.
