I was seriously just expecting a bar tour. Our tour guide Brian M was unbelievably insightful, having spent 3 years previously giving tours at the Boston State House. I learned more about Boston in two hours and three great beers than touring on my own. Fantastic experience and met some great people. Also, this tour is based on research by published author Brooke Barbier who wrote “King Hancock.” This is a legit rich historical experience at three amazing, iconic bars in Downtown Boston. Do it!

Kelly gave us an amazing tour of Boston!! She is an accomplished historian but also made the whole story of Boston and the revolution come to life for us! Took us to see many buildings and smaller artifacts we wouldn’t have noticed without her expertise sprawled throughout the city. The pubs she took us to were perfect, and we loved every cider and pint we tried. 10/10 would take this tour again and can’t recommend more highly!! Book this tour!!

The tour itself was interesting and fun, but it was our tour guide, Brooke, who really made the experience wonderful. She was so full of knowledge and energy, and obviously loves what she does. We were so impressed that she remembered everyone’s first names, where they were from, and referenced back to something a tour member had said earlier. We would recommend this tour to anyone, and definetly if you get Brooke as your tour guide.

Our tour guide, Brian, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about everything he told us about. Not only did we learn a lot about the history of the city, but we got to have some drinks along the way! We were even offered some beer that’s only exclusive to certain places. This tour was worth every penny. The groups are kept below 12 people (our group was only 4 people), so it’s really intimate and personable. I definitely recommend this tour! Huzzah!
