Our Aviair flight and small group was met in Purnululu National Park airstrip by our guide Matt. After some homemade biscuits and tea, we set off on a fabulous 4 wheel drive through the park and a 2 hour hike (with a great packed lunch) through the Bungle Bungles- the Domes, Cathedral Gorge and Picanniny Creek. I can’t think of a better place to stop for lunch than the incredible Cathedral Gorge. The scenery is magnificent. Matt was excellent at describing the geological history of the Bungles as well as very knowledgeable of plants, birds, reptiles and other wildlife in the park. Overall, it was an inspiring trip! Since the park was just opening up, there were no other groups that day which made it feel even more remote. We ended the day with refreshments and snacks at the Savannah Lodge before flying back to Kununurra. Next time I would stay at the lodge for a more immersive outback experience. I highly recommend this tour and Matt as the guide. Outstanding!

First small plane experience with Aviair from Kununurra, absolutely amazing views and fantastic knowledge and humour from both pilots.
Guided tour and cathedral walk was incredible, JB had great knowledge of the fauna and flora!
Overall an amazing experience.
I just got on the last tour of the year and so grateful I did!

We did this tour on 1 September. From the start the service was exceptional and friendly. The pilot Mackenzie was very professional and informative. We felt safe in her hands. The guide Gabriel was brilliant. His knowledge and sense of humor made the walk very enjoyable.

What a great day for our guided tour of the Bungle Bungles. We were greeted after our flight by our guides with muffins, tea and coffee. After a bit of a brief we met our guide Gabriel and set off. Gabriel is a local Gidgee ( I hope I got that right) man who was extremely knowledgeable, articulate, entertaining and personable. His knowledge of the geography, flora and fauna of the area was extensive and easy to understand. We learned so much in the few hours he had with us. We would certainly recommend the company and especially Gabriel to anyone contemplating a tour in this area. Gabriel and the staff of Bungle Bungle Guided Tours made our day very memorable for all the right reasons.

It's hard to pick one highlight of our 2 day visit to the Bungle Bungles, staying at Savannah Lodge and doing the Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm walks as it was all so good. The flight in gave such a wonderful view of the Bungles that can't really be appreciated from the ground; the staff at the Lodge were so friendly and attentive; the meals were delicious and cabins were comfortable and well maintained. JB our tour guide for both walks was fantastic with a wealth of knowledge and also, so attentive. We felt well looked after. All in all it was a fabulous experience and certainly a memory to savour.

This was the highlight of our trip so far. Collected by our pilot Harry from El Questro, he flew us to the Bungle Bungles pointing out places on the way imparting many facts and interesting stories relating to the Kimberley. Smooth take-offs and landings. Easy walk into Cathedral Gorge, an amazing landscape that photos don’t do justice, it really is a must see. Our guide Mardi was so informative and so knowledgeable, she and Lucy really looked after our group. Thanks for such a fantastic day.
