Chef Issi and his family will meet you at his restaurant in downtown Cabo San Lucas and from there he will take you on tour to several different local spice and groceries markets within Cabo San Lucas downtown neighborhoods where you will pick up the ingredients needed for the recipes of the day. Chef Issi will share with you about the food culture and also about the local way of life and history.
After picking up the ingredients you will arrive to house of the Chef and after getting your aprons on you will start crafting from scratch the different salsas and recipes that will make your Mexican feast.
Learn how to make a Margarita (Cookin' Cabo style) and enjoy it together with the fruit of your labor.
All this in a Mexican Family atmosphere.
We always cook from scratch with fresh ingredientes and we have no pre-cooked meals, therefore, all coking classes can easily accommodate vegetarians and vegans, gluten free,

• MOLE POBLANO - On Monday this is our main dish, all made from scratch with more than 25 different ingredients to cook the king of the Mexican sauces
• Tamales - On Tuesday you will learn to prepare the dough, the leaves to wrap, and the stew within the tamales, just like Chef's grandma.
• Beef Birria in red adobo sauce - On Wednesday you will enjoy the best and more tender beef tacos, you will learn top prepare the sauce to season (adobo) and the tortillas
• Sea Food and Paella - Thursday is for Baja style sea food and Paella
• Pork Tacos - Friday is for Al Pastor or Carnitas Tacos, Salsas and Tortillas
• Antojitos Mexicanos - On Saturday we will cook Mexican munchies: Gorditas, Sopes, enchiladas, Quesadillas and more.
• Home made corn Tortillas - Daily, in all classes of the week you will learn how to make your own tortillas at home
• Salsas and Guacamole - Everyday, all our classes will tech you how to make different types of guacamoles and salsa

Iszy (sp?) was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel at home in his home. He gave everyone a chance to try a technique for preparing the food. He Made the experience fun and memorable.

This experience was TOP-NOTCH!!! The shopping prior to the cooking class was interesting and interactive. Our cooking instructor Carolina and the whole crew were amazing and we had so much fun. Plus, we learned how to make some really tasty Mexican dishes, the margaritas were flowing, and the whole experience was FUN!! Next time we’re in Cabo, we will definitely go back here!!

Wow what an awesome time Karina and her staff are so much fun! You can’t go wrong with this experience. You arrive at the restaurant meet the group and the fun begins. Off you go, learn to shop like the locals do. Visit a tortilla factory, fish market…, it goes on and on, then they invite you into their home, into their own home! Wow! You will learn to make the best Margaritas you’ve ever had and of course the cooking, oh my gosh, amazing! Come hungry!!! Book it now!!! I would definitely do this again. Karina does one with Salsa dancing too, I might come back tomorrow for that one😉👍

Had so much fun and learned so much . Caroline was our chef and was full of energy , learned the Mexican margaritas yummy and the best guacamole. The tacos and tortilla making was so great . Highly recommend!

An absolutely amazing experience! This adventure with Issi surpassed any of our expectations. Our group ages ranged from 10 to 75 and everyone had a blast. It was easy to find our meetup location with parking nearby. We traveled to multiple locations to buy the food that we used in our culinary adventure which was exciting and a great experience as these markets differ greatly from what we are used to in the US. Our experience cooking the food was awesome. Everyone got to be involved, we learned about different ways of prepping food and cooking it and got to eat something amazing that we had a hand in making. I highly recommend this activity and would absolutely do it again.

WOW!!! This is so much more than a cooking class, it's a party! Live music, unlimited margaritas, Delicious tacos, and the staff are the best! Fully hands on, you make your guacamole, Pico, Margaritas, meat, tortillas, ect.... Would do this again in a heartbeat and would give it 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend!
