Itinerary
When you arrive at Real Baja Tours you will meet your guide for the day and other Real Baja Tours team members will be there to welcome you. A team member will provide you with anything that you might need for the tour and then introduce you to your well trained horse. Once quickly briefed you will saddle up on your horse and start the fun. Your guide will keep whatever pace is comfortable for your group.
The first section of the tour takes you through the desert. Experience its rawness as you ride some of the trails of the Baja Races. Your guide can tell you as much or as little as you want about the native fauna and history of the area.
The next section of the tour takes a beachy turn. Enjoy incredible ocean views, as you ride through the desert environment on your way to a secluded area of the beach. From November until May it is possible to see a whale or two spouting in the Pacific Ocean. Dolphins, sea turtles and sea lions are often sighted during this experience. This truly is a bucket list experience. Every experience level can enjoy this experience.
At the End you will have plenty of time to use the restrooms, check out your pictures from the tour, and Tequila Tasting

Our tour guide Alberto was great he was very nice and helpful with the horses. With that being said the overall organization of the tour was less than average. The tour states 2 hours we were gone for over 4.5. The van’s that picked us up had no AC and needless to say not the most comfortable ride. Upon arrival the organization of check in was not great. Close to 50 people checking in with 1 person. Waivers could have been signed online. There is an additional fee of 25 dollars which again could just be added to the overall cost. We stood in line for close to an hour to get paperwork that could have easily been handled beforehand. The actual horseback riding was about 45 min and the tequila tasting 20 min. Again spent close to another hour waiting around for our van ride back. While riding the horses ATV were up and down the beach which again wasn’t the most relaxing.
Overall the poor organization of the facility and tour was rather frustrating as well as how much true time the event takes.

First off, our tour guide Alberto was great. There were people on our tour that had never ridden horses before and he made everyone feel comfortable and confident about riding. It is hard to hear the fun facts portion of the tour in a larger group, but Alberto made a point to gather us all together at the end of the tour to share the information many of us didn’t hear while riding. The downside to our experience really came at the beginning. When we arrived at the tour location there was no order or organization to the check in process. There were also additional fees that we did not know about before. Lastly, the tequila we tasted was great, but it wasn’t as informational as we were hoping for. So that was a little disappointing.

Esteban Cortez was my tour guide for horseback riding and did an amazing job of making the tour easy and fun! I would come back for sure to do another activity. Highly recommend him!

Unforgettable dreamy experience. It was first time riding horse for me and I do not have muscles for any activities. But our tour guide Aaron guided and knew which horse fit me! (Miramba was my horse btw). Aaron gave us lots of infos about Cabos and he was very professional and personable. My horse just knew what to do. She is very smart. Highly recommend.
