Choose from a morning or afternoon departure and connect with your guide in central Cagliari. Begin with a 30-minute orientation session to get you comfortable with the self-balancing, electric vehicle. Once you’ve got the hang of it and feel ready to begin, pop in your headphones and get moving.
Follow your guide around the attractive Marina district, zooming along the coast, through ancient lanes and over to the bustling Piazza Yenne, a small square dotted with cafes and bars. Then, start the ascent up the sloping streets toward Cagliari’s historical center.
Climb up the hills and curve around the tight corners without so much as breaking a sweat; the Segway does all the hard work for you. Cruise through the tree-lined pathways of the Public Gardens, passing by the Municipal Art Gallery, a grand Neoclassical building within the park’s confines.
Navigate your way through steep alleys and cobbled piazzas of the medieval Castello district. Along the way, see sights that bear witness to the city’s incredible history. Admire the imposing fortifications, including the hulking St Pancras Tower, which is located at the highest point of the city. View the elegant Royal Palace and various striking churches including the 13th-century Cagliari Cathedral.
Venture further north to discover the incredible ruins of a Roman amphitheater. Set high up on the Buon Cammino hill, this site boasts commanding views of the fortified city below.
Break for a refreshing drink in a terrace cafe in Castello, then make your way back down towards the harbor, where your tour concludes.

The Segway tour of Cagliari was so much fun! Luca was a fantastic guide; so friendly and very knowledgeable. We were able to cover a lot of ground and see some great views. A lot of bang for your buck!

We like to do a Segway tour on the first day or so for orientation purposes.
The first tour we did was private to the four of us (and Luca) - and it was exactly what we wanted. Good job!
We did a follow up tour with Ivo to see the Flamingo's that was really appreciated too
He could also offer another longer range tour that unfortunately we couldn't make.
Only reason for not being a 5 was that the helmets were a bit tired - Offering a hair net type covering would have been all that was required.

Great and fun way to explore Cagliari! The guide made sure that everyone was comfortable riding the Segway and gave important safety advice. Overall, a fun way to explore, while making stops along the way for photo opportunities!

We have done a couple of Segway tours in other countries and seeing the availability in Caligari wanted to take a tour there. Newwaysardinia was called and a booking made.
We took a long 3 hr tour which was amazing having had a 15 minute refresher training we covered more than 20 Km.
The running commentary given was very good and ensured safety with the guide.
That tour was so enjoyed that a further tour of the old city was booked. It is very hilly and my 73 year old legs would not pound those hills to the top but on a Segway no problem. We were able to got to the top of the Castle and around many small streets with no effort.
Luca was our guide for this trip and gave us a comprehensive commentary on the various historic places. His linguistic abilities made conversation very easy and really interesting.
I cannot recommend the Segway tours enough.

We had an amazing experience with NewWaySardinia segway ride. My husband, my kids and I have tried it first time and we were a bit nervous in the beginning. But Luca, our trainer and guide has been amazing. He was very patient and has given us a great training and confidence for us to try the ride. This has been an excellent experience and we would definitely recommend Luca and the NewWaySardinia to anyone, who is looking for adventure, fun and sightseeing. Thanks Luca.

This was amazing. Especially if you don't want to climb hills by foot, but also not be cooped up in a bus or car all the way up as well. Our tour guide Ivo was entertaining and informative. Time was spent in the beginning making sure everyone was comfortable on the Segways.

He took his time easing us into riding the segway but we quickly got the hang of it. My husband and I had a super afternoon. Would highly recommend the tour.

The best way to see Cagliari. Our guide Evo was a good teacher (specially if its your 1st time on a segway) and knowledgeable about the city. You get stop off at several locations to take in some amazing vistas and see the stunning cathedral.
