Itinerary
Jump in hidden pools with crystal clear water beneath the rainforest and descend into deep gorges in rock carved from thousands of years of rainfall. Whether hiking through lush jungle or rappelling halfway down a rock to drop in the water below, your day is sure to be filled with the sound of cheers for every natural obstacle tackled. A breathtaking view unveiled with every step taken, you will discover new treasures to admire as the surrounding scenery changes throughout your adventure and offers an array of native plants and wildlife to learn about.
This epic excursion will call for swimwear, a towel and closed footwear of your own, and your guides will take care of the rest. After getting geared up at Extreme Dominica’s headquarters you will learn how to rappel on a 8-foot training wall and receive a briefing before you go on a 15 minute drive to the canyon where the real adventure begins. After traversing the magical canyon the tour concludes with a 15 minute hike back to the vehicle. The tour ends at the canyoning school with hot cocoa tea and fresh local fruit.

1. When exiting the cruise ship pier take a right.
2. Follow the road uphill for about 2 minutes and you will see a small park on your right.
3. Halfway you will find the entrance gate with a large tree. This is the meeting point.
Woodbridge Bay meeting point:
1. After exiting the port keep right and follow the small shops on your right hand.
2. After about 2 minutes you will see a large tree along the sidewalk and a small beach on the
right. This is the meeting point.

This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever done and we highly recommend doing it. The guides were awesome patient and highly knowledgeable. If you’re inexperienced or a bit afraid rest assured they will help you and make you feel at ease. The canyon is absolutely gorgeous and the repelling and jumping is just so much fun! From the start to the end they are all professional and all around just a great group of people. Dont think twice just do it!!!!! Thank you extreme Dominica for an amazing experience!!! We will be back!

Let me just start by saying, I am not particularly brave or adventurous. I booked this excursion because my two kids (12 and 9) wanted to go, and I’m so glad I did. I did things (like jump off tall boulders, and rappel down waterfalls) that never thought I would do and I loved every second (turns out I may be a little braver and more adventurous than i thought). The guides were super fun, knowledgeable, and encouraging. They definitely gave you some gentle encouragement to try things out of your comfort zone, but there was always an alternate way down in case you did not want to, say, jump off a 25 foot boulder. Truly, cannot say enough about the experience.
PS: I definitely recommend paying extra for the GoPro. You really can’t bring your phone or camera with you because it is very likely it will get damaged. I would’ve been very very sad if I did not have photos and videos, capturing our experience.

Highlight of the trip. 10 out of 10. Jeffrey and Jahlal rocked. Safety was paramount but fun was a close second. a must do in Dominica.!

This was an absolutely amazing experience with breathtaking views. Our guides were knowledgeable and kept things fun. Note if you rent the go pro the batteries don't last the entire trip.

We had a great time, rappelled, jumped into deep pools and hiked through beautiful scenery. The guides are awesome, helping, singing and making sure everyone is happy and comfortable. It is designed for beginners but challenging enough for everyone

There is no better way to see the natural beauty of Dominica. We are an adventurous family of four, two girls 12 and 15 and absolutely loved canyoning. Our guides were fantastic, they did a great job of explaining how to do everything. We felt completely safe. If there was a jump you didn't want to do, you could always repel. If you like adventure, this is the experience for you!!

If you’re planning on an authentic outdoor adventure, look nowhere else! Mandy and Berani’s hospitality and knowledge of canyoneering is top notch. I was so afraid and they made me feel safe. They both ensure we ran the training more than once so that we were confident in the canyon. Actually, I hadn’t had that much fun in a very long time! They didn’t rush us and accommodated our stops due to being out of shape! Ha! We visited 6 countries that trip and this experience was most definitely my favorite! Berani was so knowledgeable of the land and the canyons around. I loved all his lessons, and singing! ☺️The gorge is outstanding and honestly it’s so beautiful it looked like it was made with AI! It was one the most memorable experiences that I will cherish forever! I’m so glad we did it with Mandy and Berani. They were simply the best! I would do this again 1000x! Book it and you will see for yourselves! Amazing!
