Itinerary
Arriving at the activity site, our guides will give you an overview of the adventure, brief you on the safety basics and instruct you how to gear up. The activity will start with a hike up the canyon trail. At key spots, safety and technical briefings will be provided. Once on the stream bed itself, the canyoneers will have the chance to face several different obstacles - a natural water slide, jumps and rappels, including the highest one at 15 meters (49ft) high (optional). The most fun, easy and active canyon in São Miguel.

My group of 4 friends did the half-day experience with guides Ze and Maria. I cannot give sufficient praise to these two guides - they were phenomenal. Funny, kind, and highly competent with their technical skills to keep everyone safe. They were so patient with us newbies, encouraging us to take leaps off of cliffs, rapel down waterfalls, and generally immerse ourselves in the beauty of the forest river system. We had a total blast, and I have to give special kudos to Ze in particular for having the ability to combine lightheartedness, humor, and encouragement with a keen eye for everyone's safety. I don't think I would have felt safe enough to do some of these crazy things without him there to guide us so expertly. Big thanks for all you do for your clients, Ze and Maria!

The canyoning experience was a blast. Our guides Ze and João were laid back, fun, and very knowledgeable. You could tell they had fun doing their job and were happy to be guiding us. They made sure everyone felt comfortable with the experiences while ensuring maximum adventures for the tour. It seemed like the company tried to tailor the tour to everyone’s capabilities in the group and tried to match the people in the groups for this. Maybe we got lucky, but everyone in our group seemed to be of similar age and abilities which allowed us to rappel a more challenging waterfall. They also gave wonderful info on the ecology and local plant life. I would 100% recommend this tour and company!!

We had a blast. This was a great way to experience the Azores. We were travelling with kids of age 6 and 8 and they loved it! João and Zé are great with kids. Would definitely recommend it!

This was one of the highlights of our trip! The guides were professional, fun and provided a safe atmosphere to explore . They were both experts and shared a lot of knowledge about the island all with good humor and adventurous spirits!

We had a lot of fun. Joao and Ze are very relaxed, funny and yet cautious guides. You don't feel unsafe or overwhelmed even as a beginner.

Jumping of the cliffs were beyond my expectations. J and z made me feel safe every step of the way 100% the best tour guides in the Azores highly recommend.

The whole experience was eye opening for sure. I thought I was in ok shape but there were parts I had to take a breather! They are very accommodating to you. At one point I was too scared to jump (the only one in my group I mind you) so I repeled down the waterfall instead! My guides Joao and Xavier were amazing!

What an amazing experience! It was so much fun & the scenery was just breathtaking! Highly recommend this to everyone! The guides were very knowledgeable and gave us great insights into the local fauna.
