Itinerary
Each participant will receive all material for the activity, we will do an introduction/presentation briefing. Then we will walk for about 15 minutes to the beginning of the canyoning. Before starting this canyoning we will do another briefing, this one of a technical nature.
The beginning of this canyoning begins with a 6-meter rappel descent, walk, jump or toboggan, then jump or rappel, walk, 7-meter rappel, walk, 12-meter rappel, walk, jump (optional), exit walk.
During the activity, we will take pictures and talk about biodiversity and rock formation.
The photos will be sent later to the participants, by email and free of charge.

What an incredible experience canyoning with João and Luis! They are passionate about their work, and it shows. It was my first time cliff jumping, and they were patient and kind with me. It was such a pleasure meeting them, and I’d highly recommend their tour! Muito obrigada!

This excursion was one of the best parts of my trip to Sao Miguel. So beautiful!!! João and his partner were super patient with me (hiking in neoprene to the starting point is intense!) and coached our group each step of the way. Safety is their first priority. The ratio was 4 adventurers to two guides. João is fluent in English, which made it easier for me. As a solo traveler, I had no problem fitting in with the rest of the group. We cheered each other on through all of the challenges.
I jumped off two waterfalls and rappelled down two different cliff areas. I waded through river areas and giggled as I posed under the spray of a waterfall. I appreciated that he captured photos and videos of the excursion so I didn't need to worry about pulling out my phone.
I was also able to arrange for a ride with them from Ponta Delgada (extra fee) so I didn't need to worry about getting to the starting point. Wear a bathing suit, bring a towel, and be ready for the experience of a lifetime. It was an empowering excursion that made me SO HAPPY. Thank you.

We participated a great canyoning adventure in Salto do Cabrito. Our guide Joao was focused on fun and safety so everyone finished the tour with a smile which you can see on the photos, too, which were taken during the canyoning trip.

Excellent experience! João was funny, knowledgeable and provided all the equipment we needed to feel safe. The group was small and that allowed to provide a more individualized experience The water was freezing but because of the wetsuits, it was not bad at all. The park is stunning. In sum, I would do the tour again with them in a heartbeat.

These dudes absolutely rock! They are extremely skilled and put safety first. We went to Salto do Cabrito. A ~45 minute hike followed by multiple jumps and canyoning down around 4 waterfalls. What an pleasure getting to hang with Jaoa and Rodrigo. You can tell they have as much fun as you are and that makes it even better. Must try!
