Share with your guides your fears and adrenaline. We make an adventure surrounded by nature and with spectacular views of the area and the volcano.
The tour consists of 5 rappels an 1 zipline in which you will experience different forms of descent by touching the wall or free descents, fly over the tree and canyon you can also enjoy a nice walk inside the river canyon that has small crystalline pools where you can make small jumps, you will feel an approach with nature , flora and fauna of the forest.
The rappels have heights between 20 meters, 25 meters, 35mts up to 60 meters high, in addition we have two ropes, the main one through which the client travels and the second rope that is the safety rope to make the controlled descent and safer. At the end of the tour you can enjoy lunch.

An amazing and exciting experience rappelling down waterfalls and ziplining through the trees. We were fortunate enough to see toucans and howler monkeys! The guides were really knowledgeable, engaging, and fun, taking plenty of photos for us. Lunch was also delicious! Would highly recommend.

What an experience! This team went above and beyond all working together making the experience of a life time! Along with cannoying they are very informative about the surroundings giving excitement throughout the entire experience. The million dollar view at the end is breath taking. This tour is a MUST! We originally didn't have this on our list of to-do's in La Fortuna, but when a couple recommended it after their experience, we absolutely were on board! The staff is very friendly and overall incredible! They made this tour even more amazing. Repelling off of waterfalls was not on my list of adventures I ever thought I would do, but I am so incredibly grateful to have experienced this. The views were amazing as you are repelling down and you never feel unsafe. The guides make sure that you are harnessed in at all times and talk you through step-by-step to make sure you feel comfortable going down. If you're able to do this tour, you definitely should!!

I absolutely recommend Maquique adventures. I loved canyoning and was so surprised at how easy it was. It wasn't as scary as it seemmed and the guides were all super attentive. I will say that people with limited mobility might have issues with the 15 minute hike. It wasn't the most strenuous hike but it was a challenge keeping footing with water shoes on. The lunch included was amazing! Traditional Costa Rican cooking by a local restaurant owner who also holds cooking classes at her restaurant. My only complaint is I wish I had more time in La Fortuna to do a longer tour. I only did the canyoning tour (also includes a hike and lunch). But, I wish I had time to join them on the rafting trip, too.

This place could NOT have been better! I did a LOT of research before this trip, and I was so glad I booked with Maquique over the other big names. It was the highlight of our trip to Arenal! My family and I have never been rappelling before, and the guides were amazing. They were funny, put us at ease, and captured some great shots of us (INCLUDED in the price - no commercialized upselling here!) We loved trekking through the canyon and appreciated that every single line was a different style/view, and not just the same thing over and over again. Afterward, we were even treated to a delicious lunch! Kenneth, Jason & Dario: MUCHAS MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!

Bario and Kenneth were the best guys to have as guides! Super safe, but they kept it light-hearted and fun. I only talked to Briffordson for a bit but he also seemed like a great dude. Each of the rappels was fun. All around, super chill folks, lots of fun, ¡Qué tuanis!

We had a great time. Rappelling was a blast and the guides did a lot to calm nerves and instill confidence. Lots of extras they include - lockers, water, pictures and videos, showers…they think through the end to end experience. Lunch was very tasty at the end and felt like a good reward for a challenging morning. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience canyoning with Maquique. As a couple, one of us had never rappelled before and the other has abseiled quite a lot - we both enjoyed this adventure equally. We felt safe in the hands of the friendly, knowledgable staff who broke us into smaller groups, so we weren't standing around waiting for too long at reach rappel. The canyon and waterfalls are beautiful, and lunch was a nice Costa Rican casado at a nearby restaurant and cooking school. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Maquique to other travellers.

this was the top to do on our list for this trip. I want to do it agian. Ronald and Kennith were awesome. we had to walk a bunch in the water on rocks and the wife and her friend aren't the best at that. Ronald and Kennith took the time to help them. it was amazing, with feeling super safe the whole time. They even took a bunch of pictures that they give you without charging. The lunch afterwards was a traditional Costa Rican meal and was simply amazing. I wish we had done more adventures with this company. tell next time thanks. Pura Vida
