Really fun experience that I’d definitely recommend for anyone in Cappadocia! Eren is a friendly and knowledgeable guy who speaks perfect English and made it a great evening. He explained some of the background about lamps in Turkish culture and then demonstrated how to decorate it. It wasn’t too complicated but requires a little patience - as someone not too gifted when it comes to art and crafts, it was the perfect level for me! You have freedom to design your lamp as you wish and all the time having a good chat and getting an insight on all kinds of aspects of Turkish culture and history, Eren knows his stuff. I was delighted with the finished version of my lamp and had a great evening - it’s a really nice and welcoming atmosphere, you feel like you’re having a chat with a mate while learning lots in the process
