Itinerary
First you visit the exhibition-shop to get an idea of Dionysia' s work.
Then you work with Dionysia for 2 to 3 hours to get familiar with clay and create your own unique ceramic memories from Zakynthos island. The standard project includes the creation of two pieces a turtle and a second more free form (bowl, tile etc). The shape, the style and the decoration of the 2 pieces depends on your imagination and creativity! Your ceramics will remain to dry under the sun and then I will glaze and fire them. They will be ready out from the kiln two (2) to three (3) days after the lesson, depending on weather conditions and my kiln firing schedule.
After the lesson you may have a walk in our farm and admire some of the oldest olive trees in Zakynthos.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. Host was lovely and took us step by step in making our very own turtle and unique bowl. Lots of free space and seating to take a break and enjoy coffee in the sun while the kids could play on swings

Such a great experience! Doing your own traditional pottery to bring back home with you is the best souvenir you could ever buy. The garden and the whole setup were magical. Want to come back!

We had such a fun and peaceful experience here, we learnt lots of skills in sculpting and ended up with really beautiful pieces to take home! We also got shown their amazing garden of olive trees and grape vines. I would recommend this to anyone with any ability as a mindful and enriching creative experience.

The ceramics workshop was great, it’s a super zen activity in the setting of a big garden and olive trees. A big shop for inspiration or to buy nice ceramics. The teacher is really friendly. It’s easy to do, you start with a turtle for techniques and then make your own bowl. After a few days you can pick it up baked and painted. So make sure you don’t plan this on your last day :-)

We had an amazing time learning a new skill from a great teacher, so lovely that you can take them home with you to keep. I would recommend this if you’re looking for something different to do :)

Dionysia provided the best morning crafting ceramics. Everything was very chilled out and educational, you can tell this is Dionysia’s passion. We were provided technical information, how to work with the clay and how to mould and sculpt. Dionysia provided coffee and little treats during our visit. Highly recommend to anybody visiting the island.

Everything was perfect from the communication when booking to the joy that followed the collection of our glazed creations! Dionysia engages you with her passion for ceramics; her lesson was easy to follow and highly rewarding, the time flew by! We enjoyed the class so much we’re now looking into similar workshops at home. Great value and a fun activity for all ages, thanks Dionysia! Excellent value too.

We loved the experience. The lessons were so clear and a focus on our own creative expression helped us all get out of our comfort zone. The entire process from booking to picking up the items we made was so easy. I would go daily just to learn from such an amazing teacher.
