not a good tour. not recommended. went straight up the middle of the harbor so you couldn't see much on the shore. the narrator was good, but we missed seeing the shore.

Honestly, I have taken this cruise/tour of Ft Sumter with guests in the past. This tour lacked a Ranger who actually told the story of the Civil War from various perspectives of the forts of Charleston harbor. A flag was folded at the end of the day, the speaker read from a phone.

Beautiful sunset views on the cooper river. Perfect weather and precise timing to get the best photos. Sit on the right side of the boat. All the views are off that side

I surprised my wife on her birthday with this Harbor Cruise, which was first time. We throughly enjoyed the experience of sailing on the water and talking with the people around us. The cruise was easy to reserve. The service on board was Great! Thanks so much for making my wife’s Birthday a Success!!!!

Very disappointing boat tour, it’s really just a boat ride, a real waste of time. The boat left the dock, motored out to Fort Sumpter and came back. Not much sightseeing, the narration was poor and the accommodation was very basic.

Viator experience was easy and went smoothly. No issues. The harbor cruise was mediocre. They played music, but really didn’t need to. Hearing the ocean as music is all you need on a short cruise. Captain gave good historical info on various points of interest.

We were all boarded and it was taking a while to leave the dock. After about 30 minutes, we were told that the boat was having mechanical issues and told that we wouldn’t be able to complete the excursion. We did receive a full refund so that was a good thing.

We were disappointed that the captains narration was not audible. Even after we complained, the volume was too low. We went on the harbor history tour to learn some history. We didn’t. The boat and the staff were fine otherwise but I can’t recommend this to anyone.
