Stop At: Charleston Carriage Works, 20 Anson St, Charleston, SC 29401-2028
For centuries Charleston has been a hub of culture, class, charm, and national history. The British settled here in 1670 and quickly established her as one of the most important cities in America. As years passed, Charleston thrived and evolved all while keeping her unique personality.
A beautiful harbor as rich in history as it is rich in breathtaking vistas. Centuries old homes kept in pristine condition by their proud residents. Cobblestone streets. One-of-a-kind shops and vendors. Charleston has it all. And we'd love to introduce her to you with a Carriage Tour experience that is classic and unique as she. Each of our tours is an hour long and covers 2-3 miles of Charleston’s residential Historic District. They are narrated by some of Charleston’s best city-licensed tour guides who are happy to share their local insight with you. Tours load and depart about every 30 minutes from our stable at 20 Anson Street.

An absolutely perfect introduction to Charleston. Our guide and our horse, Trevor, were wonderful! Everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming. It was also very obvious that the horses are extremely well taken care of.

Traffic was very bad we had to change our time and even then we could not make it. We rented a beach house in Kiawah .
We paid in full and lost it all

Luke was a terrific guide and Boeing was a great horse, not scared at all by traffic. Luke had many anecdotes about Charleston and really knew the history.

Truly enjoyed our carriage ride .
Guide was very entertaining . The only recommendation I would have is to have the tour guide wear a headset. My friends and I were in the last row and at times it was very hard to hear him .
