Dedicated in 1989 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, known for reversing the flow of the Chicago River in 1900. For the first five minutes of every hour, the fountain shoots a water arc across the river from a tiered waterfall.

Goood explanation by the guide Alex and the tour covered all the iconic buildings and architecture of Chicago. History of Chicago was well explained.

It was interesting from beginning to end. Alyssa our tour guide was very knowledgeable & we learnt a lot about the architecture of Chicago. Weather was also good for the trip. .
