They never showed up. No call note or message. Tried the tour operator three times on their chat and they never responded. Called Viator who also called them but got voicemail, no answer or return call. Thankfully our concierge was able to help us take a great tour with Cancun adventures. Org it was our last day we would not have been so lucky. Avoid Ely tours

Our guide, Juan Manuel, shared a wealth of knowledge and history with us, his recommendations for activities were excellent. An SUV instead of a passenger van would have been more comfortable for the price paid for private tour.

If you are looking to tour Chichen Itza THIS IS THE TOUR!!! Jose Manuel is so knowledgeable and welcoming. He picked us up from our hotel in Playa Del Carmen at 7am. He had waters and immediately started sharing information about Mexico, the culture, animals, and so much more. We spent about 3 hours at Chichen, and he was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for. Taking pictures, selfies, pointing out everything!! We then drove to the cenote/lunch about 30 mins to back. It was a yummy buffet and very clean. The cenotes had life vests and lockers. Make sure you bring a towel! He took pictures and videos of us too. A water proof phone case would be good too. After about 2 hours we drove to Valladolid a cute little town. We got coffee and gifts. Jose Manuel is the best tour guide and I would do this 100 times over. Please check it out!!!!!

Jose was our guide and Juan Jose was our driver. Both were just lovely. From the start of the day, everything went so smoothly. Jose presented such a detailed presentation at Chichen Itza - it was so amazing to have a private guide. The lunch was so delicious and the cinote was amazing. We also enjoyed our afternoon shopping in Villadolid. It was a fantastic and I would recommend this tour and company to anyone. I would recommend requesting Jose as well!!!!

Tour led by extremely knowledgeable guide! He was an archaeological expert and went into great detail at our pace. This was a great way to skip the lines and get the level of detail desired. Lunch was delicious and every part of the tour was enjoyable! We would not change a thing—highly recommended

We had an awesome trip to Chichen Itza. We booked a private tour because we wanted to be on our own time frame. Our driver picked us up on time at our resort. Note: Some resorts do not let private tour companies pick up in the resort. Our driver called up and we had to walk out of our resort, down the hill, in order to get to our van. That was fine because it was not far. We did not know that we should pack towels for the cenote. It would have been good to know that before hand. We did not go back up the hill to get them and decided to just figure it out when we got there. Our driver did ask if we wanted to stop anywhere to buy towels and he would also stop if we wanted to go to Starbucks or anywhere else. Driver had snacks and cold drinks in the van and our kids loved that. It was a long drive there and back and no radio in the van he said it was a new van and not installed yet and our driver did not give us any information on the drive on what we were going to see or info on the area, so it was pretty boring ride. When we got there our Mayan guide already had our tickets so we did not have to wait in the long lines. Also, we requested a 7 a.m. pickup instead of 8 and we really beat the afternoon crowds. It was great having a Mayan guide and it took a few minutes to get used to his English and understand him. He was great and had a lot of information and a laminated book with photos to show us the inside of the pyramids and other information we wouldn't get to see. Very interesting! It was really, really hot! Bring water and a hat! Lots of market vendors inside trying to get you to buy things. You can really bargain with them as they start at high, ridiculous prices! Would definitely use this company again! Great tour!

We had an amazing day- Chichen Itza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, a scrumptuous buffet lunch, a swim in an incredibly beautiful cenote, and a walk around a charming Mexican town. What really made the day so special, though, was our fabulous guide, Jose The highlight of our trip.
