This was an amazing experience! I do
embroidery at home all the time so it was really fun to do it in Rwanda as well. Good teacher and guide. Recommend!

Not worth your money and time.
Tools for activity were of low quality - needles and scissors
Activity completed within an hour and the experience was far from good

I had a lot of fun at the basket weaving class. It was nice to learn the traditional Rwandan way of making baskets. Thank you so much for the experience!

I went to this Rwandan traditional basket making experience with a couple of friends. It was sooo much fun to make one by my own hands. Staff were super nice and very well experienced craft makers. The place was full of wonderful arty things that you can also parchase if you like some of them. I would definitely come back to the second hand craft experience :)

We had a fantastic time with this event. The class was great and our teacher was very nice and informative. Everyone at the gallery was incredibly welcoming. We will be returning for another class soon! We definitely recommend for anyone visiting Kigali.

Fantastic experience!!! Our family did two activities with Go Rwanda and both were 5 star all the way! First we did pottery with Miriam and her nephew. They were really talented and very patient with us. Second, we did the quads. We had never been on quads before and the guides were extremely helpful. Christopher was my guide and really great! The tour organizer Sharc (spelling??) was fabulous, arranging customized transportation for us to get to the activities. There were loads of other activities as well that we didn’t get to do — zip line, basket weaving, paintball, hikes, etc — but based on our experience I would have no hesitation recommending them. I am confident you would have as fantastic an experience as we did!

Embarking on an embroidery adventure in Kigali was an absolute delight! The embroidery workshop I attended surpassed all expectations, providing a perfect blend of creativity and relaxation. The instructors were not only skilled artisans but also patient guides, making the intricate art of embroidery accessible to everyone.
The workshop space itself was a haven of colors and textures, equipped with a stunning array of threads and fabrics. Whether you're a seasoned embroiderer or a complete beginner, this workshop caters to all skill levels. I found the rhythmic motion of the needle incredibly therapeutic, and the end result was a testament to the expert guidance provided.
I highly recommend this embroidery workshop to anyone visiting Kigali. It's more than just a craft; it's an opportunity to unwind, express yourself, and create something beautiful. Don't miss the chance to immerse yourself in this textile haven!
