Oslo's Opera House is located right at the harbour, with an angled, white exterior that appears to rise from the water. It invites its visitors to climb its roof and enjoy panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord, all year round

Stop At: Akershus Castle and Fortress (Akershus Slott og Festning), Festningsplassen 1, Oslo 0015 Norway
Akershus Fortress is a great place to discover Oslo's history and enjoy a day.
The building of Akershus Castle and Fortress was commenced in 1299 under king Håkon V. The medieval castle, which was completed in the 1300s, had a strategical location at the very end of the headland, and withstood a number of sieges throughout the ages. King Christian IV (1588-1648) had the castle modernised and converted into a Renaissance castle and royal residence.

Stop At: Tjuvholmen Sculpture Park, Strandpromenaden 2, Oslo 0252 Norway
Tjuvholmen is one of Oslo's newest boroughs. The area is characterised by an intriguing architectural diversity and unique outdoor areas. It plays host to several galleries and art installations, including the Astrup Fearnley Museum flanked by a sculpture park and a beach. Tjuvholmen's restaurants are known for their high standards and great locations

Stop At: Vigeland Park, Nobels gate 32, Oslo 0268 Norway
Vigeland Sculptural Park (200 statues). It is a walking tour in the park, and we will spend appr. 1 hour there.
The unique sculpture park is the life work of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943) with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city centre and had many recommendations for activities and places to eat! Highly recommend to do on the first day of your trip and you will have lots to do!

This was a fantastic walking excursion
Amazing Experience! This tour was so great to go on, I would definitely recommend it to anyone that visits Oslo. Tanya-Lisa, our guide, was fantastic throughout, providing a running commentary on what we were looking at and the history of Oslo. We went to many great attractions and learned so much!

We were asked to reschedule our time for this tour which was okay. However, our guide rushed in several minutes late, stating “just in time”. It only got worse from there. No schedule or itinerary. ‘What do you want to see?” How should I know. I am the visitor. I told her “this is hidden gems of Oslo”. We walked to the Opera House. She pointed out “look, there is an apartment building”; “look, there is a restaurant”; I was pointed out more dogs …Tanya Lisa was the worst guide I have experienced on this trip. Unfocused. Very little historical information. We walked to the Univ of Oslo. She said it was closed but I saw people going in. I asked if that wasn’t where the Munch painting was. We made it in with 9 minutes to spare before it closed. My granddaughter and husband left after an hour of her babbling. I stuck with it for another two hours but quit This tour us a waste of time, energy, and money. DO NOT USE THIS TOUR!!

We were able to see parts of the city you could only see by walking. Favorite part was the sculptor garden.

The national WWII Aviation museum in Colorado Springs is a hidden gem. It was a 2 hour
guided tour of aircraft and memorabilia. The tour guide, Ray, was very knowledgeable and had an excellent sense of humor. Will be going back and will bring some friends along as well.

We really enjoyed our tour. Our Guide was absulutely wonderful - full of energy and love for her City and cool facts and stories. She willingly answered all questions and never rushed. We learned a lot! I would definately recommend this tour of Oslo to other people!
