We were a party of four, and the only ones to sign up for the tour on our date. This allowed us to have a highly personalized experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly! In slightly less than eight hours, she maximized what we were able to see and do. She even made a lunch reservation for us in Manarola. The food and view were outstanding. We are very grateful to Veronica. We would never have been able to accomplish as much as we did and have the benefit of the narrative history.

Our tour guide Veronica, met us at the train station in La Spezia, helped us to purchase our day passes, and then we started our trip, with the first stop being Manarola. She took us around all the important landmarks, explaining them, and have us free time and we met at the designated spot to catch the train to Vernazza where we went through the same process. Interesting how the two are both so the same and so different. Such beautiful views and the terraced vineyards were remarkable. Back on the train to Riomaggiore. Veronica booked us a table at a restaurant overlooking the sea. She took us to the restaurant and gave us an hour to eat. We met her back at the Piazza and started our tour, walking through the old fishing village. Our tour finished, we boarded the train back to La Spezia. The train is a lovely way to go to Cinque Terra, and so fast. We had a lovely day. Veronica was fantastic.

She went out of her way to customize our trip for us. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She was delightful. And it took her a minute, but she laughed at all my jokes- which means she’s very smart.

Just seeing the rugged coastline, three of the villages, taking photos, great pizza. Veronica was a very good guide, got us safely on and off the trains, and was very informative. We had plenty of free time.

It was disappointing that the ferries weren't running because we had to take the trains. The number of steps in moving to the trains should have been noted.

It was wonderful to return to visit these five wonderful coastal towns. Each was charming and each had its own temperament and character. We had visited Cinque Terre nine years ago and today those memories came alive again. Manarola stood out because we swam there and Riomaggiore was our favorite. Veronica, our guide, did an excellent job of directing our small group. She offered highlights and well planned free time for our personal exploration. Excellent tour highlighted by an excellent guide.

Our guide Veronica was wonderful and kept the tour well-organized and shared interesting facts about each town. We were a small group of only four people, which made for a more personal experience. It was a busy day visiting Riggomagiore, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso. Veronica was able to give us good directions so we also visited Corniglia on our own after the tour wrapped up, and also suggested we visit Portovenere the next day (it’s a must see!) Definitely recommend this tour for navigating Cinque Terre and making the most of your time!
