Single or double kayaks available for hourly rentals. You will pick up your kayak at the store and wheel it to the public access point of your choice. Explore the coastline at your leisure. Rent a second hour and the kayak is yours to enjoy until the end of our business day. The waters surrounding Kailua Kona are known for its diverse marine life from beautiful yellow tangs to Spinner dolphins. When you are done, you wheel it back to the store and we take care of the rest.

My boyfriend and I sailed to Kona on a cruise, but opted to do more local-friendly excursions and this was definitely a highlight! Kona itself is fun and awe-inspiring, but getting out on the crystal blue water and getting a view in to the sea life directly below you is next-level. Truly an unforgettable experience, and anyone who complains about having to cart the kayak the short walk it takes to get down to the beach has clearly never ocean kayaked before. Even if you only have a few short hours in port, get it a shot!

This was great fun and we could see so many fish near the pier. However I would say that you could see just as many fish by looking over the side of the boat as you could by looking down to the clear bottom because the water was calm and very clear

Chris was awesome! Gave clear instructions for use, safety and tips. Was very informative on everything from the kayaking to the area as well as gave us great dining places! He also was more than happy to let us get a 2nd Kayak at no everything cost if we were more comfortable with that. Hands down a blast and would highly recommend to anyone!!! The view through the clear bottom was awesome!

We’ve paddled in ocean kayaks and sit-on-top kayaks since the 1980s, but had never heard about these clear-bottom kayaks, so we were eager to rent one. The day we reserved was clear and sunny, with an onshore breeze and waves less than two feet, so we had every reason to expect a delightful day on the water.
Unfortunately, the experience was a thorough disappointment. These boats are not self-bailing, and ours quickly filled with water faster than we could ever hope to pump it out. As any experienced kayaker knows, a boat full of water is hard to maneuver can be quite dangerous, even if internal flotation will keep the boat from sinking.
Because of their design, these boats are not safe except in calm waters—particularly for people who lack experience. This company should know that, and it should not have sent us off to paddle a submersible.

This was so much fun to do, we seen s pod of dolphins, eagle ray, and colorful fish! The ocean is so blue and just beautiful! Great island adventure. And the best part was the service! Chris was extra friendly, serviced us well, gave us great directions and what to look for. He had life vests for all 6 of us, his equipment was fully equipped with extra accessories. He also held our belongings in a container at the shop, so we didn't have to leave valuables in the car. He also gave us couple minutes more for us walking to kayak location. Mahalo, Chris!

A landscape like no other in the world. The darkest-brightest most magical place on earth. We saw actively erupting volcanoes and beautiful waterfalls. Banyan trees are the most fascinating trees I have ever seen in my life.
Night swimming with the Manta Rays is a must!
Can't wait to go back and travel the other islands.

Great experience with this business. Quaint little shop in downtown. When we arrived, our kayaks were ready to go with paddles, microfibers, bilge pumps and fish ID cards. They were strapped to a set of wheels that made it super easy to walk them across the street for entry. We had enough people in our party to have folks stay with the kayaks while two people carried back the wheels. We were given a bike lock to secure the wheels if we wanted to. Entry was easy at the bay right across the road. Had a great time out on the water. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting. Lots of stuff to see and a great way to spend a morning.

It was cool to have a clear bottom kayak, but it was a little strange. I had to pull the kayak on wheels about a half mile on a small and crowded kayak and when done, put it back on wheels and do the walk again. I went back to the beach I went out of a few days later and easily rented a kayak right on the beach and cheaper for 2 hours. Way easier… you can see in the water anyway because it’s so clear.
