Coasteering in South Mallorca with Transfers

We are a family with three teens aged 16, 13 and 13 at the time of writing and have completed our first ever coasteering trip in in Mallorca. After booking we were contacted directly through whatsapp to confirm our details (shoe size, length) so they could prepare the needed materials. We were kept up to date on weather conditions and where to meet until the day for the activity arrived (one day later than planned due to weather conditions). We met with our guides Mario and Niko at the designated place and after a short introduction we got changed into our wetsuit. It was just a few minutes walk to get to the coast and cliffs. We received a safety briefing and got ready for our first jump. We had a blast moving forward and increasing the height of our jumps, even if the sea and its waves below were a bit intimidating. Our children were fearless though and managed to complete all jumps! After the jumps we went wall climbing on the cliffs which requires some strength and was rather satisfying when reaching the end, at which point another jump could be made. The last part of the trip was a zip-line between two cliffs, made on the fly while were there (see foto). It was not an easy swim and climb out to get to, but Mario and Niko went our of their way to ensure a safe path forward for us to experience this. At the end of the day we swam back to our starting point, all satisfied and happy with what we experienced this morning. The views were amazing and the jumps were extremely fun. We had an absolutely great time and our guide was fantastic! If you don’t feel comfortable doing something they find a way to still let you enjoy the experience. We went to a more secluded area and it included a short hike (ten minutes) to place our things at the smallest jumping point. The guide was with us at every jump helping to guide our way and telling us where to step and how to jump. The climbing portion is a lot like scrambling and bouldering, we didn’t require a belay and from someone who is afraid of heights I was able to make it work. Keep in mind I have scrambled and bouldered before though. Trip ended with a short zip line from a decent height into the water!

Did coastering today, and had a great time! Did it with 2 teenagers, and all of us loved it. Jose (guide) was chilled , relaxed and so helpful. Scenery - without this trip It would never have been known, the jumping a huge buzz. Absolutely no pressure to do any of it, I was actually advised not to do the big jump, but I'd have never lived it down with the kids already doing! Anyone wants a different day out, and you like adrenaline, then definitely do this! Only comment is, if you drive, go against instincts and follow the instructions😂 the parking is somewhat of an experience in itself;

I've never done coasteering nor heard of the word, but after this experience I am a big fan! I went solo with a group of 7 others. The guide picked us up from our hotels and he was friendly, helpful and made climbing the cliffs and jumping off them so easy. We were provided with a full length padded swimsuit (the cliff rocks are sharp!), wet shoes, a helmet and life jacket. The place we went for the activity, Caló d'en Monjo, is absolutely stunning! We were taught to jump initially from cliffs 1-3 meters high and final one was 9 meters. Sounds not that high, but once you're near the cliff edge you really feel your fear kick in. What a rush of adrenaline after each jump though! We also rock climbed around a cliff to another jump spot 6-7 meters high, which was exhilarating. Final activity was zip lining across two rocks and plunging into the cool Mallorcan eaters near a cave. 3.5 hours sounds long but it went past pretty quick. The only thing I wished was for there to be an option for pictures (I've done tours before where they charge an extra for very professional GoPro pictures and videos) as I didn't bring my phone or have a GoPro. Still, fantastic experience of a lifetime!

This was awesome! I’m 45 and chubby and was worried about my physical abilities. The instructors are super nice and make it fun, you can do whatever parts of the activities you’d like. I ended up doing much more than I thought I was capable of. This was the perfect activity for me to do with my adrenaline loving teen.

We received communication for trip preparation from Xanthe through text message and all seemed great. We arrived at the meetup location detailed on the booking confirmation and no one showed up. Over the phone Xanthe tells me I missed the trip because she messaged me the correct location through Whatsapp instead of texting me. When I told her we don't use Whatsapp in the USA and I never got the location message she proceeds to tell me, "Well everyone in Europe uses Whatsapp", putting the blame on me. If Experience Mallorca is going to cater to international customers they need to realize a lot of American's have never heard of Whatsapp, and never place the blame on the customer. Not a good experience with "Experience Mallorca".

This was an absolute blast! Highly recommend!! We had a great time and when we didn’t feel comfortable jumping the giant jump, we we weren’t pressured to at all! It was beautiful and incredible

I did the coasteering tour with Miguel & ist was amazing! We jumped from different cliffs (up to 10m), did some free climbing above the water & abseiling with a rope. I felt safe the whole time with Miguel as my guide. Thanks for this wonderful experience & for your patience during the abseiling with me.

Story time: I lost my Apple Watch cliff jumping off of one of the higher cliffs in Mallorca. Our guide, Miguel, is an experienced free diver who went looking for it but he did not have goggles with him and it was lost to the sea. A day later Miguel contacted me to say he got a pair of goggles and found it! We met at his home in Northern Mallorca to retrieve the watch this morning and had a great chat about world travels. Miguel said he found the watch on the sea bed under 10 meters (30 feet) of water! Im totally in awe of Miguel who has a PB of 4.5 minutes holding his breath while free diving. Also for his willingness to go out of his way to retrieve the watch for me. Also impressed with Apple engineering for creating a watch that can spend over 24 hrs on the sea floor under 10 meters of water and still function flawlessly. The activity was amazing, challenging, and memorable. Views are spectacular. Miguel is a legend!
