Explore the glorious surroundings of Minca with rivers, waterfalls and magnificent views. First we will enjoy Pozo Azul, a beautiful
waterfall with refreshing water from the Sierra Nevada. To swim there is a
great start of the day. Then we’ll move to the coffee farm La Victoria. During the coffee tour we'll come to know everything about coffee and the history of the
farm. After La Victoria we'll have lunch and then we will visit one more waterfall
Cascada Marinka, where we can swim once more before leaving to Santa Marta.

I highly recommend Iguanas Tours if you want a more personalized exploration of Minca and the surrounding areas. I found them on Trip Advisor and booked the tour through the Iguanas Tours website. We were able to contact Martin beforehand with our questions and were able to confirm our two pick-up locations.
During the holidays, the touristy spots get busy, so Alfredo, our Spanish-speaking guide, picked us up in Santa Marta super early so we could beat the crowds. We headed straight for Pozo Azul – one of the most famous waterfalls in the area, and it was terrific. We were there with only a few other locals and tourists – it was so serene. The water was super cold, but we took the plunge, which was so refreshing.
The next stop was La Victoria for a tour of one of the oldest coffee farms in Colombia. It was a nice stop, and enjoyable to listen to the area's rich history.
The ride to our next stop, the Minca Hostel, was one of our favorite parts of the day. It is easy to see why a 4x4 is the way to travel up in the mountains above Minca. It was a bumpy, bouncy ride full of laughter and an impromptu stop at Louis's coffee farm, where we enjoyed the best cappuccino and conversation!
Finally, we made it to the hostel for lunch and were greeted with chill vibes. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a few Caprihinis while sitting in the netted canopies over the hillside.
I highly recommend this company for a personalized tour!

Marten from Iguanas Tours provided us with an excellent day. Two waterfalls were very refreshing and relaxing and his knowledge of the working of the coffee farm was very informative. Also, the trip gets you out of the Santa Marta heat and into a more mild climate. Bug spray is a must, as the small flies near the waterfalls do bite.

Took a solo trip up to Minca and wanted to go birding. Martin at Iguanas tours was a huge help in making this happen (shout out to Richard, my excellent birding guide).
Martin also helped me arrange a 4x4 tour up into the mountains to a coffee farm and some mountain top hostels/lookouts and a waterfall (shout out to Alfredo, my guide). My entire experience was great and I would highly recommend Iguanas tours when in the Santa Marta/Minca area, as they have a lot to offer and are super nice about everything! Thanks again guys!

Martin is a great guide with contacts in many destinations around Santa Marta. He ensured everyone was safe and that we were getting good deals on our purchases. In addition, he was extremely informative and helpful throughout the tours. We spent multiple days using his service to tour Minca, La Victoria, a chocolate farm, a few beaches and many other small sights.

Exelente tour de un día a Minca. Martin había coordinado todo perfctamente según deseos de nuestro grupito de seis personas. Se puede decir, que hicimos dos toures compinados a precio de uno! Centro de Minca, Pozo Azul, Finca la Victoria, Mirador los Pinos, Sierra Minca con hamacas, manos grandes, almuerzo... y casacadas de Marinka.
Señor Alfredo (nacido en Minca) fue nuestro super-guía quien conoció todo y todos y todos conocian a el en la region de Minca. Y sobre todo el sabia como conducir y llevarnos seguro en esas carreteras "no tan perfectas"!
Todo espectacular, Gran recomendación, 100 / 100 puntos!
