this is an awesome day trip... Aloha Sunshine have done well with the timing of the stays at various attractions. Each person of course has different preferences, For me I could have stayed at the aviation museum longer whilst my wife thought it was a bit long. We both totally enjoyed the Bowfin sub experience. The various museums are also an eye opener. We didn't even get to all the museums as there is so much to see, The Arizona Memorial is a very emotional experience. I wish there was also more time Missouri battleship but hey there is only so many hours in the day. For us it was a 10 hour day from pick up to set down. The tour guide Ariel is a hoot, very energetic, open to questions and gives a fantastic backstory to Honolulu, Hawaiian culture and the Pearl Harbor invasion day. The quick city tour is also very informative. I totally recommend this tour is a definite 5 stars out of 5

This tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide Arial was fantastic he was very energetic and took around the city and then to Pearl Harbour. He had everything booked in and scheduled us to see everything. Could have no of asked for a better guide which made the tour even more amazing. Would do it again and again

Well worth it...its a long day and even then you could easily spend 2-3 days there to see it all. We were blown away by the opportunity to go inside a WW2 submarine. The museums are large and can absorb lots of time. You don't get much time at the Arizona Memorial, but that said it is understandable as it is not a large space and others are wishing to visit.

We had Ariel as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, but a bit abrasive.. We met at our pickup location and had a non-clear backpack with sunscreen, extra water, etc. in it. We were hoping to keep the bag on the bus in case we needed anything. He immediately scolded us, "You didn't read the email... no bags are permitted in Pearl Harbor. It wastes time and money." I asked why we couldn't keep it on the bus since the email stated the parking lots are patrolled but not to leave items of value on buses (we didn't care if someone stole our sunscreen), and he said that it prevented us from going on other parts of the tour. We weren't the only couple to be called out about our bag.. The confirmation email is actually not accurate as it states that you take the free shuttle to Ford Island (where you also cannot have bags); however, you do not take the shuttle and instead go with the tour guide on the bus, hence not keeping a bag on the bus. The email needs to be updated to reflect this and more emphasis on not bringing bags if they can't be left on the bus and guides are going to be upset about you checking them. The tour is self-guided as the tour guide drops you off at each location and gives a meeting time. Again, Ariel was yelling at the group as he was gathering us to hand out passports and share information. I felt as though I was on a kindergarten field trip instead of being spoken to like an adult. We liked that the tour was self-guided at each location because it allowed us to prioritize what interested us most and manage our time accordingly, without being wrangled around like a herd of children. We met back in the parking lot about 10 minutes early for the 11 AM meeting time after the Arizona Memorial and USS Bowfin only to be scolded again that we were not permitted to get on the bus yet, and we had to wait under the small shelter in the parking lot. Ariel seemed to mellow out throughout the rest of the day and, despite his abrupt personality, he knew the complete history of Pearl Harbor and Hawai'i and was willing to answer any questions we had. He also played us a song on his ukulele at the conclusion of the tour. Overall, we enjoyed the tour...just don't bring a bag.

We did a booked tour which was good but time limiting. Could have done with more time cause we only saw half if that....there is a lot to see. If you just turn up you can see the Arizona Memorial at no cost but you have to let other ticket holders go before you. The theatre and other displays are also free but the other museums and ship displays you have to pay for. Limited food stalls except for at the Missouri ship which has a few more. A good gift shop in both areas. You have to board a coach to drive over the other side of an island for the ship tour...all included in price. WHATEVER YOU DO though do not take any bags cause they are not allowed in unless they are small and clear plastic. It is such a pain to wait in a long queue and then pay to leave your bags. A big time waster and then to do the same later to collect them.

Kenoe was our guide. She did an excellent job. Helping the group to see as much of Pearl Harbor in a single day. I was impressed that she remembered all of our names

Pearl harbour was a bucket list to do. Can now tick that box. Our tour guide is a ex army man with very loud voice. At pick up I was chastised for bringing a backpack. I said I intended to leave my bag in his mini bus. He said that was not allowed. I said it stated in the terms that bags are not allowed in pearl harbour. You can pay $10 U.S. storage fee there. Also it said that tho there are security cameras in the parking areas where his mini bus was parked, it was recommended not to leave things of value inside the bus. So to me that inferred that you leave items on the bus at your own risk? I showed him this statement and he said I miss read what it meant. So he still refused to let me and two other couples leave our bags in his bus. So therefore, we had to pay $10 for storage fees each. His knowledge of what he knows about pearl harbour and Honolulu was top class and all of this was told during the bus ride. But once at pearl harbour and the aircraft museum we were told where to go and what to do and that was it, we were then left to our own devices and given times that we had to be back at our bus. So in short, you could maybe uber it there or even bus it there and save yourself a lot of money and also have a lot more time to explore at times of your choosing.
