Here we enjoy Michelangelo's amazing fresco's including the 'Creation of Man' on the ceiling and 'Last Judgment' on the alter wall.

Stop At: St. Peter's Basilica, Piazza San Pietro, 00120 Vatican City Italy
The tour will finish with an introduction of St. Peter's Basilica from the out side. The guide will tell you all about St. Peter's Basilica before you are given free time to explore on your own, without waiting in line, at no admission cost.

St Peter's Basilica is a holy place of worship and is not subject to the rules of the Vatican Museums. The Basilica is subject to close with little to no warning and in this case, the tour will conclude in the Sistine Chapel.
All youth / students aged 18-25 years must present a valid photo student ID and document with date of birth. Students below the age of 18 will only be asked to show proof of age.
A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No bare knees, no bare shoulders no bare stomachs. You are allowed to wear shorts, dress and skirts however the cloth must fall long enough to cover the ball of the knees and shoulders for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
A moderate amount of walking is involved.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Our guide Monica (with Maximum Tours) was great. Our tour group was limited to 10 people, which made it a very personal and informative tour. The museums were beautiful and Monica kept the descriptions and the history of pieces very interesting. The informative explanation of the different parts of the Sistine Chapel we were given before heading into it was very helpful since Vatican rules dictate we have to remain silent while inside (I presume to preserve the art). This way we knew what we were looking at and what to look for when we entered. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Patricia was wonderful and the tour was delightful! We were able to see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St Peter Basillica. There was beautiful, jaw-dropping art throughout the tour and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had no issue hearing her explanations and instructions because we all received headsets. You definitely want a guided tour because the lines without a tour guide are very long and seem impossible. Again, 10/10 recommend this tour and Patricia was amazing!

Our guide Christiana was a wealth of knowledge! Her attention to detail was over the top and all along with a bit of humor thrown in! I highly recommend this tour and hope you are lucky enough to get the guide we got! I just wish we could keep her with us for the rest of the 2 weeks we are in Italy!

Strolling around the Vatican, viewing the Sistine Chapel, incredible statuary were fantastic. BUT, our professional guide talked so much that the tour did not stay on schedule. We had to leave for another tour and were unable to see St. Peter's Basilica. However, seeing the Sistine Chapel, a second time from years, ago was still remarkable. Remember that the ceiling is a collection of art from many artists and not just one!!!
