What an awesome experience my husband and I had with Chef Massimo. His passion and patience in teaching us was outstanding. His culinary skills and detailed oriented technique were exceptional . This cooking class was beyond a 5 star from the moment Chef Massimo met us at the Arch. He imparted his expertise about all things food related. The market tour was full of tips on what ingredients to purchase for what kind of meal you are cooking. His place overlooking the sea was beautiful and the open air breezes as we prepared and cooked our meal added to the experience. Massimo made each guest feel comfortable and gave us all jobs to do. He instructed as we did each task to make the meal. Now for the meal... We are still drooling over the squash blossoms, mussels, bass, caponata, pasta with sun-dried tomato pesto. Massimo's grandfather's delicious vino completed our dining experience. Our time together with 14 other guests was incredibly fun and a gastronomic treat. I can't wait to buy the ingredients in US and try to make these recipes at home. Thank you for a wonderful day of food, family and fun. So much laughter and good vibes around a table in the Sicilian way.

What a great experience! Highly recommend it! Chef Massimo was an excellent instructor. He was very knowledgeable and detailed and explained everything very well! He and his staff were very attentive. The food we prepared was amazing! We loved it!

Chef Massimo was great at communicating the information on selecting ingredients in a Sicilian market, food prep and presentation, and important tips on types of the foods to use together. He was very clear and direct during the prep work done by the participants and kept everyone engaged. He was sensitive to people's food preferences and creatively honored these. A great meal and great time for all .

Eccellente! The 5.5 hour class, actually went 6.0 hours, flew by. Massimo is not only a first class chef who knows Sicilian food but a great communicator sharing his love of food, family and Italy. We will be trying his recipes here at home. Massimo made his recipes simple to understand and has given us confidence to "give it a go." The native Sicilian cooking is more simple than we imagined. Who would have imagined eating the flower of the zucchini? We did and it was fabulous. Now to find zucchini flowers here in the states. And, Massimo's "kitchen" was something out of a movie: a Sicilian Villa on the side of the mountain with million Euro views. We highly recommend this day spent with Massimo...

Chef Massimo is a highly knowledgeable chef and has a great sense of humour, with a good command of the English language. We made the most wonderful food and learned a lot of cooking techniques. His organizational skills allowed us to prepare many dishes. This was the best meal we had in Taormina. Worth every penny! Bon appetito. Mille grazie Massimo!

We absolutely enjoyed our cooking class with Chef Massimo. We started with a trip to the market where Chef Massimo explained how to pick the freshest vegetables, meat and fish. We walked to Chef Massimo’s lovely home overlooking the sea to cook. He was wonderful explaining how to chop, prepare, and cook our dinner. We made 3 appetizers, Pasta, and 3 main dishes. Afterwords, we enjoyed our meal with wine on his patio overlooking the sea. It was delicious!! This was definitely our favorite activity in Sicily.
