Here is the programme for your journey!
First Step: Choosing the material for your future hat!
standard merinos wool felt - premium rabbit felt - handdyed felts - natural straw - panamas -
and over 30 differents colors!
Second Step: Defining the shape of the wood block on which will stretch and mold your felt.
Fedora - Trilby - Canotier - Capeline
Third Step: Learning and practising the traditionnal and artisanal process for hatsmaking by using water, steam, martelers and pins.
At that stage, it can seems silly, but you hat will "bake" in a oven.
Final step: Decorating your creation! You will have more than a 1000 different accessories ( not jocking ;) to embellish your hat.
Scarfs - ribbons - buttons - charm's - chains - lining- leather painted swatches - flowers - broches - pins - embroideries ...
A unique creation made by you guided by most experienced hatmakers!

Even though we were the only ones in group that didn’t speak French, our teacher and the group made it work. Was really fun experience, however, when you go to add the decoration to your hat, only the ribbon and a feather included. All the buttons and pins you add are for a price. Other than that, I’d recommend this…hats came out cute!

The class was a lot a fun. It was much longer than we expected. The teacher was great but didn’t know English. That made it harder and longer. But overall I would highly recommend the class it was fun and educational.

We absolutely loved this experience. Our tutor was very funny and kept us all entertained throughout the hat making process. The studio is awesome and we were both really proud of our hats! Definitely recommend as a unique and memorable activity with a difference!

It was very fun! I love it! We communicated with translator but it was not a problem. The instructor was very friendly, helpful dan patience explaining everything.

Making a hat from beginning to end. It was so much Fun!! I loved getting to choose all the colors and hat bands. What a great experience!

My wife and I was able to work with the owner Marie and she was great to work with! Lots of fun with our group and made this a good time!

The hat making was a lot more work than I expected. We were on our feet for 4 hours! We learned a lot, made a hat, and some new friends. Sara helped us every step of the way and we couldn't have done it with out her. We were instructed to put all our belongings on a locker and take the key. When the class was over, the locker was wide open and my LV bag could have walked away with my passport in it! Extremely disappointed in the flimsy lockers when you're told every thing must go in! Bring a drink with you cause nothing is really provided.

I had a real good time. However I did not realize not only do you pay for the class but also for the supplies!! So it is actual $$$$$.
