Itinerary
The ancient art of engraving, which in Venice had its greatest splendor and diffusion, will have no more secrets! For those who want a unique experience in the ancient world of craftsmanship, I organize individual courses (one or at most two people) to explain and put into practice the basic techniques of engraving. Participants will thus have the opportunity to create a real art print made by them (based on their original idea or their drawing) and take it home. An experience that they will certainly not forget - indeed, they can hang it in their home! The course includes the engraving with the drypoint technique on Plexiglas or drypoint on zinc. I will follow you in the choice of subjects, in the preparation of the drawings and during all the processing phases, from the initial study to the processing of the plate up to the final prints.

Arianna was fantastic. You can tell how much she loves her art and how passionate she is about Venice and print-making. We enjoyed an 8 hour etching course, she was patient, meticulous, informative and delightful. She speaks excellent English and it was a great atmosphere because as we were being enthusiastically taught, customers from all over the world were coming into the shop and buying Arianna's prints and originals. The lovely studio is in a great location as well, with bars and a great coffee shop/tea shop on the canal side nearby. We would highly recommend visiting Arianna's shop for some original artwork made in Venice, or if you have more time take a printing course with her - you won't regret it!

My sketch translated into linocutprint using two lino blocks - so excited with the results and what a pleasure to find Arianna of @plumplumcreations who provided her expertise and support to making it happen. Do check out Arianna who is a fabulous artist and also offers printmaking courses in her shop/studio. I took the 8 hr course and how brilliant to be able to convert my sketch into print in Venice. Ho partecipato ad un corso per imparare la tecnica dell'acquaforte e dell'acquatinta . Arianna è stata gentilissima,molto chiara nella spiegazione dei vari passaggi da seguire.Consiglio questo corso a tutti quelli che vorrebbero imparare una tecnica molto suggestiva di stampa;)))

Ho frequentato il corso completo di incisione, della durata di 30 ore. In un atelier che ha il sapore di una casa pulita e i muri che raccontano, Arianna è stata un'insegnante speciale, generosa nel mostrare e nel far apprendere tutte le tecniche, con garbo, competenza, delicatezza, lasciando anche quei momenti di silenzio che servono alla concentrazione ed essendo sempre presente con grande attenzione. Le sue opere poi le assomigliano molto, e sono davvero molto belle. Porto a casa un nuovo sapere, un numero elevato di stampe, anche con diversi colori, e molto entusiasmo e gratitudine. Consigliato con il cuore a chi attribuisce valore all'unicità della creazione e ne riconosce il valore.
