Come and have fun. Make two ceramic tiles, one for you and one for our community mural project.
Visit our ceramics workshop, learn about ceramics and try it for yourself! Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment.
What you’ll learn and what we’ll do.
You will learn about ceramics, different clays and decoration techniques.
Let the fun begin.
Out come the aprons, clay and tools to get your hands dirty. Hands on, you will make and decorate two terracotta tiles.
No need to bring anything special, we’ll have an apron ready for you.
No prior ceramics experience is necessary.
Your Finished Tiles.
Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. So we offer two options if you are just visiting Barcelona:
Option 1: About 1 to 2 weeks later your ceramic piece is ready to pick up or mail. Shipping is not included in the workshop price. We ship worldwide via DHL.
Option 2: Just visiting Barcelona, can’t wait a few days? You can leave your two tiles for the community mosaic and select a finished tile made by Taller Gingell to take home as a memory.

This workshop was a birthday gift for my creative friend that was visiting Barcelona and it was perfect! We had a lovely afternoon, not too rushed, not too slow. The explanation from Eric and Wendy was easy to follow in both English and Spanish. They took great care helping everyone around the big table, bringing extra tools or helpful tips for your specific tile design wishes. They also take pictures (with consent) during the workshop, so you don't need to touch your phone with dirty hands and still have nice memories to look back to. Muchas gracias Eric y Wendy!

Really enjoyed Wendy and Eric and visiting their studio! My son and I thought it was such a fun addition to our vacation in Barcelona. They were lovely hosts, and I would do it again myself, and highly recommend it to others!

Making tiles was fun and educational. The staff are exceptional and guide you through the process. The workshop has many interesting displays and examples of their work and previous student work. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Barcelona.

This was a great workshop intro to ceramics. Eric and Wendy are super kind and they shared a lot of knowledge and information which created a very safe and positive environment. I would definitely recommend it and I would come back for another class.
